She studied acting in the Bavarian Academy for Theater in Munich, Germ

any, and worked as an actress in Switzerland and Germany (www.annignaseiler.com). In the last years Annigna has pointed her focus more and more towards filmmaking. She writes, produces, edits and sometimes takes part in front of the camera too. Tom comes from Jersey in the Channel Islands. A big thank you to everyone who took part in ‘Au Moulîn’ a fictional short we have just made for the National Trust for Jersey based on the lives and times of the Hawkins family who actually lived and worked there in the 1860s. It will be playing at Le Moulin de Quétivel. It was such fun to make and we’re really proud of how it turned out.

A little short we recently made for Jersey Heritage. A taste of life in Hamptonne House during the mid 17th century featuring Living History characters Laurens Hamptonne played by Michelle Hervieu and the Bouonnefemme played by Annigna Kennedy.

Shot in a day and great fun to make. The Bouonnefemme speaks to Laurens Hamptonne entirely in Jèrriais, a rare opportunity to use our native language in a period drama.

Introducing.... to the Jèrriais band scene with a snippet of their own rendition of The Wild Rover - Nânnîn Janmais

We are super excited to share this little film which was part of the Jèrriais Language Strategy launch at Jersey Museum last week. It is a glimpse of the bigger project we are currently working on here at Little River Pictures - a feature-length documentary for L'Office Du Jèrriais about Jersey’s very own native language.

The documentary will not only tell the stories of the remaining native speakers but also of the growing language revitalisation movement here on our little island. It is such an important subject and we are thrilled to be part of it. The fight is far from being lost!

A ROYAL APPERANCE

We are fortunate indeed that His Majesty King Charles II has the delectation to once again visit Elizabeth Castle. The King will be available for an audience with his subjects at 10.30am on a daily basis during the week commencing 26 July.

His Majesty will first hold court at the Granite Cross beside the Parade Ground in the Lower Ward, before moving to his erstwhile residence, now known as the Governor’s House. Do not miss the opportunity to meet the ‘Merry Monarch’ and listen to him recount many fascinating stories of his time in Jersey during the 17th century.
