Old Pulteney Coastal Series Port Cask – Matured in Port wine casks, bringing bursts of fresh, sweet fruity aromas!
Compass Box Hedonism, 2024 Edition – Beautifully labelled and a rare Blended Grain Whisky, containing old spirits from the 1990s.
Bladnoch Single Malt - The distillery is located in the Scottish Lowland and is the southernmost distillery in Scotland. Founded in 1817, it was dormant for many years until it restarted in 2015, releasing a series of high-quality single malts.

【Rare Whiskies @ Whisky Live HK 2024】
Each Whisky Live HK brings a selection of rare whiskies that are hard to find in the market, or high aged, high valued whiskies, allowing everyone to share in the event. These are whiskies that even if bars have them, they might not readily open a bottle for you to try. Here are a few highlights:

Ardbeg Supernova Committee Release 2015:
In 2011, Ardbeg sent whisky into outer space, and after 1045 days of maturation in space, it successfully returned to Earth. To celebrate this achievement, Ardbeg released a limited edition of Ardbeg Supernova 2015, which is 100 ppm heavily peated.

Bowmore Devil Cask Edition 3:
Released in 2015, this is the final bottling of the Devil's Cask series, using 1st Fill Oloroso & Pedro Ximénez Sherry Casks for a rich flavour profile.

Karuizawa Fuji from Kanaya on the Tokaido (Karuizawa 36 Views of Mount Fuji)

The Old Malt Cask Tormore 29 years:
Distilled in 1988 and aged for 29 years in Oloroso sherry casks. The quality of the cask is reflected in the colour, representing a classic example of high quality sherry cask-matured whisky.

Teeling 24 years:
A former winner of the World Whisky Awards for the World’s Best Whisky! A testament to the resurgence of Irish whiskey. Extremely rare in the market!

【Whisky Live HK 2024 聯乘櫻尾蒸餾廠包桶！】
日本威士忌近年發展迅速！新酒廠不斷建成或興建中，好些有過百年歷史的酒造都投入到威士忌蒸餾廠，例如位於廣島縣的中國釀造株式會社 ，於2017年建成的櫻尾蒸餾所，專注於Single Malt威士忌，也釀造優秀的Gin酒。

今年Whisky Live HK 2024，我們找來櫻尾蒸餾所，選了一桶十分有趣的單桶Single Malt，以波爾多紅葡萄酒桶熟成的酒款，香氣帶有美麗的紅色水果蛋糕、葡萄乾及甜香料。口感豐富而精緻，有紅色水果、覆盆子、甜丁香、肉桂和一絲細膩的單寧。餘韻悠長，帶有多汁的香料櫻桃、黑胡椒和一些甜香料風味。

[Whisky Live HK 2024 x Sakurao Distillery Limited bottling!]
Japanese whisky has been rapidly developing in recent years! New distilleries are continually being built, and many historical breweries, some over a century old, have ventured into whisky distillation. For instance, the Chugoku Jozo Co., Ltd. in Hiroshima Prefecture, built the Sakurao Distillery in 2017, which specializes in Single Malt whisky and also produces exceptional gins.

This year at Whisky Live HK 2024, we have partnered with The Sakurao Distillery to select a very interesting single cask Single Malt, matured in Bordeaux red wine cask. The nose shows beautiful red fruit cake, raisins, and sweet spices. The palate is rich and refined, with red fruits, raspberry, sweet clove, cinnamon, and a touch of fine tannin. The finish is lengthy, with juicy spiced cherry, black pepper, and some sweet spices flavours.

If you want to get this limited edition which is less than 200 bottles, be sure to attend Whisky Live HK 2024 from November 14-16. A full-day package including 10 tokens and this bottle is available for just HK$2,680, but quantities are limited, so act fast!

【Spirits Duty Reduction! 烈酒稅削減！】
Good news for whisky lovers (at least for those premium-whisky consumers), duty in Hong Kong is now reduced from 100% depending on the import value. The import duty for $200 spirits will remain as 100%, but for those higher value spirits, the first $200 portion will still be charged 100%, but for the part that is above $200, only 10% of tax will be charged! The higher the import value, the lower will be the duty.

對於威士忌愛好者（尤其那些高端威士忌飲家）來說是個好消息，香港的關稅即日起從 100% 將會降低，具體取決於進口價值。 200元的烈酒進口關稅仍保持為100%，但對於那些價值較高的烈酒，前200元的部分仍將徵收100%關稅，但200元以上部分，僅徵收10%的稅！進口價值越高，關稅就越低。
