I was honored to be part of the delegation, alongside my colleagues from the National Assembly, that attended the Sallah celebration, birthday, and housewarming event hosted by The Right Honorable Idris Ahmed Wase in Abuja.

It was a privilege to be among the esteemed guests, including two former Governors, Senators, a Deputy Governor, and members from the state assembly. The event provided a great opportunity for discussions on state and national issues, and I commend Idris Ahmed Wase for his advocacy for peaceful coexistence and diversity.

I'm deeply saddened by the loss of my colleague, Hon. Isa Dogonyaro, who represented the Babura/Garki Federal Constituency of Jigawa State. As Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria Control, he was a dedicated and compassionate legislator who served his constituents and the nation with utmost commitment.

His passing leaves a great void in our midst. I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, constituents, and the people of Jigawa State. May God grant them the strength to bear this irreparable loss, and may his soul rest in perfect peace.

I'm happy to share that 58 women across all 27 electoral wards in my constituency have been empowered with deep freezers to start their own businesses! This initiative aims to promote financial independence and entrepreneurship among women.

Additionally, 5 hospitals in Nasarawa Town have received 1 freezer each to improve the storage of medical consumables, enhancing healthcare services for our community.

This gesture is a testament to our commitment to supporting women's economic empowerment and quality healthcare.

Reflecting on a Productive 2-Day Retreat

As a member of the House of Representatives, I recently had the privilege of attending a 2-day retreat focused on economic transformation and development. The retreat aimed to enhance our understanding of the Petroleum Industry Reform Act (2021) and tax reforms/modernization.

Over the two days, we engaged in insightful discussions, presentations, and brainstorming sessions with experts and colleagues. We explored strategies for effective implementation, addressing challenges, and harnessing opportunities for sustainable economic growth.

The retreat was a valuable experience, enriching my knowledge and broadening my perspective on critical issues affecting our nation's economic development. I return to my duties with renewed enthusiasm and a stronger commitment to serving the people.

I look forward to applying the insights gained towards shaping policies that benefit our great nation.

Great news for Kunke village! I'm delighted to announce the completion of a solar-powered borehole project, bringing clean water directly to the community.

This project addresses a major challenge faced by residents, particularly our mothers (women) who previously had to travel long distances for water, leaving their homes vulnerable. The new borehole will significantly reduce these difficulties and ensure easier access to clean drinking water.

This initiative reflects my commitment to improving the lives of people in Nasarawa Toto Federal Constituency. I'm heartened to see the positive impact it will have on the Kunke village community.

I am pleased to extend my warmest congratulations to His Excellency Abdullahi. Audu. Sule (A A Sule) on the recent Supreme Court decision affirming his victory as the duly elected governor of our great state. This marks the conclusion of the legal contest initiated by the opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and its candidates. It is with great joy that we acknowledge this judicial validation.

As members of the same political party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), there is a shared commitment to the progress and development of our state.
