Our Story

Southern Style Magazine was created by Joanie and Jenni Beaver, owners of Positive Note Network, to give the world a taste of the Emerald Coast. It’s more than beautiful beaches (although we have a lot of those). It’s amazing local businesses and restaurants and places that deserve to be discovered.

We’re creating a place for local spots to advertise and tell their stories so tourists or new residents in the area can find their new favorite coffeeshop or boutique. It’s more than just a magazine, but I guess everyone wants to believe that about their piece of art or work. You can decide for yourself when...
