6. At present, a joint venture, China-Russia Commercial Aircraft International Co., Ltd (CRAIC), has been established in Shanghai on May 22nd, 2017. The joint venture held a China-Russia Long Range Wide Body Commercial Aircraft Naming & CRAIC LOGO Presentation on September 29th, 2017 and announced that China-Russia long range wide body commercial aircraft is officially named as CR929. At present, both sides have identified the development plan of CR929 series, completed the preliminary definition of aircraft-level indicators, and clarified the range (12,000 km) and seat number (280) of the basic version.
