Musicians’ Weekend
What is a Musicians’ Weekend? We’ve defined it as days off during the week that don’t coincide with the traditional weekend. For example, having a Tuesday off, while working on Saturday and Sunday, as well as evenings spent working during the “conventional working week”
This podcast talks to those people for whom “T.G.I.F” is a mere farce, Monday mornings are for sleeping in, and the weekend is when musicians are trying to get to their gigs despite train engineering work.
We’ve been told so many times “it’s hard to make a living out of music” – yet we know countless amazing, ambitious, and inspiring working musicians which suggests that people are obviously finding a way.
Every two weeks, we’ll be chatting amongst the three of us and featuring a different guest each episode, to explore the various ways our friends and colleagues are making their way through the industry to keep music-making alive.
