Just finished The Village (2004), and wow, what a journey! Who knew a 2-hour movie about a bunch of people in a small town, scared of invisible monsters, would leave me with so many questions? 😐 Major plot twist: the real monster was the script. But hey, shoutout to M. Night Shyamalan for taking us on a wild ride of “Is it a thriller? Is it a romance? Is it… a lesson in patience?”

I’ve never seen a group of people so terrified of leaving their town—like, the monster is the least of their problems when the plot is trying to kill you. But hey, great performances from Bryce Dallas Howard (who spent the whole movie making eye contact with trees), Joaquin Phoenix (his character literally couldn’t stop looking like he was about to solve the world’s problems with his intense stare). Tune in on and enjoy the newest episode! And a serious and genuine thank you to sister Dr. Hightower for the suggestion and being a loyal listener!
