Short Stack Books Short Stack Books is an independent book publisher of short crime fiction anthologies and collections from some of today's best crime fiction authors.

Short Stack Books was founded by crime fiction author and editor Michael Pool in 2015 as a publishing imprint dedicated solely to publishing short fiction in the form of themed anthologies, individual author collections, and our in-house crime fiction publication, Crime Syndicate Magazine.
