Joliet’s Police and Fire Departments are hiring for Public Safety Dispatchers

NOW HIRING! The City of Joliet, Illinois, Government is currently accepting applications for Public Safety Dispatcher!

Tasks & duties include, but aren’t limited to:
•Dispatches Joliet Police Department & Joliet Fire Department units to calls for service
•Responds to phone requests for police, fire, & emergency medical services
•Becomes certified in LEADS/NCIC
•Becomes certified in CPR & EMD (Emergency Medical Dispatch), and provides medical instruction to those on the scene of an emergency as necessary
