After a week off it’s great to be straight back in! Today was guitar day and we were recording some straight up Oasis inspired guitars!

We found using our Hohner hollow body going straight into the Vox AC30 got the tone into the perfect ball park but it was this Crayon Overdrive that was the cherry on the cake! 🎸

Day 1 with and trying some new ideas today including our SM7B as a mono room mic which sounds great, it’s a perfect representation of how the drums sound standing in the room.

We also decided to try our M5’s on tom duties for a change which although initially have a lot more bleed from the other parts of the kit, after being cut the results are really open and natural sounding tom’s!
