As AI 👾rumbles towards and beyond AGI (Artificial General Intelligence)
what's the impact on the future of the human 👩‍🎓 workforce?

It's happening faster than what the pundits predicted. To give you an idea of the accelerated impact of AI, Fortune.com interview with Kai-Fu Lee, Chairman of Sinovation Ventures, said : "50% of jobs will be displaced by AI within 3 years". 😲

Said Vinod Khosla, Founder of Khosla Ventures: “OpenAI and Google aren’t going to build a structural engineer👷‍♂️. They’re not going to build a primary care doctor👩‍⚕️ or a mental health therapist,” he said. “So there are so many areas for [founders to mine]. But they have to look at where the models are going next year and five years from now, and say, ‘We want to leverage that capability.’” (Techcrunch Collision 2024)

Will humans 🏃keep up with AI?
Said Jim Covello GS Head of Global Equity Research: “... questions whether models trained on historical data will ever be able to replicate humans’ most valuable capabilities.” Goldman Sachs

Imagine 20,000 people exploring possibilities🌠 for future Careers, Candidates and Courses in one place!

FutureCite discovered the magic💫✨ and energy of possibilities at the Skills Canada Alberta Competition Event in May 2024.

At the May 8-9th 2024 event the Canada Skills competition included over 80 companies, course creators and of course the Alberta Secondary School Students, their teachers and their parents.

If you think that building the workforce of the future is just about HR recruitment – it’s time for a rethink. 🤔

Methods and processes currently used as go-to-tools were first created from the 1950s era of post war industrialization. Back then, they had the luxury of learning on the job. Back then esteemed go-to career options focused on professional careers – lawyer, doctor 👩⚕️, dentist, pharmacist, engineer, 👨💼accountant, or teacher👨🏫. And course an Ivy League business degree helped then to advance and snap up a CEO role in a large enterprise corporation. Back then these were the envied “white collar” careers.

Back then, Candidates were hired based on their resumes (CVs)📑 for potentially a lifetime Career in a 2 way match. Not anymore!👀 It's now a 3 way match.

So what's the missing key element needed to bridge skill gaps for future Careers?

So are there other career options now for candidates to consider?

Yes even though it's summertime ☀, what an opportunity it is for you to get ahead 🏃 🏃‍♀️ of the pack! Are you willing to try something new?

Get a sneak peek🎬 of opportunities...without needing a CV and finding ways to upskill for opportunities that best fit you! See QR code in image slides!
