Lord, thank You that I am forgiven, completely, fully, not partially or conditionally but totally forgiven through the blood of Jesus, my sins removed as far as east is from west.

Forgiven isn't something I hope for or work toward but something that's already true, accomplished at the cross, sealed by Your grace, mine to receive not earn.

Teach me to live like someone who's forgiven, to walk in freedom instead of guilt, to stop punishing myself for sins You've already pardoned and forgotten.

I am forgiven means the debt is paid, the record erased, the condemnation removed, that there's no outstanding balance, no punishment waiting, no shame I need to carry.

Help me stop returning to confessed sins as if they're still mine to bear, stop rehearsing failures You've already removed, stop living under guilt You've already lifted.

Remind me that being forgiven doesn't make my sins insignificant but makes Your grace magnificent, that the cost was high but the payment was complete.

Give me freedom to accept forgiveness fully, to believe I'm truly pardoned not just excused, to live without the weight of sins that are already gone.

Let me walk today in the reality that I am forgiven, carrying no guilt for what's been forgiven, living in the freedom Christ died to give me.

As I was worshiping the Lord yesterday, I expressed how much I love Him. While worshiping, I said aloud, “I love You, Lord.”

And He answered—plainly and directly:

“If you love Me, keep My commandments.” — John 14:15

It struck my heart.

Now here’s a question for you: Are you keeping His commandments, or merely following them? Because there is a big difference.

As I began to dig deeper into His Word, I asked the Lord why He used the word “keep” instead of “follow.”

(Have you ever asked the same question?)

There is a difference between the two, but let’s focus on the word keep.

The word “keep” comes from the Greek word tēreō.

It means more than simply obeying. It carries deeper ideas:
• To guard carefully — like protecting something valuable.
• To watch over or preserve — ensuring it is not lost or forgotten.
• To observe faithfully — living according to it consistently.
• To hold firmly in your heart — not just outward obedience, but inward devotion.

So what does all of this mean?

It’s simple: don’t just follow His commandments—live by them.

Let me share a simple observation I noticed when traveling abroad.

In other countries, Filipinos are very disciplined when it comes to throwing trash into the bin. They know how to follow the rules—they obey them and respect them.

But why is it that in our own country, we sometimes fail to do the same? Is it because of the system? Is it because the law is not strictly enforced against littering?

Or is it because we have not truly taken the law to heart and chosen to live by it?

Seven simple words from the Lord made me reflect on how we view our Christian walk in everyday life:

“If you love Me, keep My commandments.”

We often say, “I love You, Lord.”
But are we truly keeping His commandments?
Or are we merely following them—only when someone is watching?

Take the Pharisees as an example. They were known for following the commandments outwardly, but did they truly keep them in their hearts?

To keep His commandments means:

• Live by them.
• Guard them.
• Carefully obey them.

If we desire to be deeply planted, we must learn to keep His commandments seriously and wholeheartedly.

And here is His promise:

“He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” — Gospel of John 14:21 (NKJV)

Love for the Lord is not proven by words alone—
it is revealed by a life that keeps His commandments. 📖✨

THE MAN WITH LEPROSY

Scripture:

“When Jesus came down from the mountainside, large crowds followed him. A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.” Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy.” Matthew‬ ‭8:1-3‬ ‭NIV‬‬

What is Leprosy?

In TAGALOG term, we called it us “ketong” — is a chronic infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium leprae. The disease mainly affects the skin, the peripheral nerves, mucosal surfaces of the upper respiratory tract and the eyes.

On its spiritual term, the man with leprosy represents US. These are the things that we have na hindi pa natin na-i-surrender sa ating Panginoon. Hindi lang na-i-surrender kundi mga bagay na pumipigil sa atin upang tayo’y makalapit sa ating Panginoon.

I. Spiritual Leprosy Mainly Affects the Following:

1. SKIN — Which represents the shame or guilt that the enemy is being implanted in our mind. The more we feel the intensifying shame and guilt, the more na maslalala ‘yung HIYANG nararamdaman natin na to the point na hirap na tayong humarap sa Panginoon.

2. PERIPHERAL NERVES — Function: The peripheral system allows the brain and spinal cord to receive and send information to other areas of the body. It represents our communication to our God. So, kapag mayroong pala tayong dala naaapektuhan nito ‘yung communication natin sa Panginoon. Dito na pumapasok na madalang, or minsan, hirap na tayong marinig ang pangungusap ni Lord.

3. MUCOSAL SURFACE — Function: form the interface of the body with the external environment and play a central role in immune surveillance and protection against infection. It represents the protection from God. At dahil sa leprosy, apektado na rin ito due to the disease, magkakaroon nang problema. Since the mucosal surface serves as a protection, if it was affected due to the disease, parang tayo rin, kapag nalalayo na tayo kay Lord, nawawala na rin ‘yung proteksiyon from God. Kaya pansin niyo, kapag wala na tayo o halos malayo na tayo sa puder ng Panginoon, lagi tayong napapahamak.

4. EYES — Function: It collects light from the visible world around us and converts it into nerve impulses that helps us to see. So, this represents our purpose or future. Dahil sa apektado na rin ito ng spiritual leprosy, there come a time na talaga namang mababalutan ang mga mata natin ng negativity na ang tanging mapapansin na lang natin ay puro discouragement or negativity sa paligid. Minsan, nagiging cause para malabo na nating makita ang plano ng Panginoon para sa atin. (Matthew 6:22-23)

II. Things we must do for us to be cured

“A man with leprosy CAME and KNELT before Him and said, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.” (Matthew‬ ‭8:2‬)

1. Come to the Presence of God — Seek God

2. Kneel Before God — which talk about REPENTANCE for our sins and SURRENDERING ourselves before God.

Just like the man with leprosy, he did not hesitate himself to draw himself to the Lord. If you can see, He comes with SINCERITY and FAITH.

He asked God, “Lord, if you are willing, YOU CAN MAKE ME CLEAN.” What do you think the reason why God willingly healed the man? It is because of his FAITH.

Try to differentiate the statement:
— YOU CAN MAKE ME CLEAN.
— CAN YOU MAKE ME CLEAN?

He never questioned God’s capability to heal. Right from the start, he believed God can heal him.

Then what did God do to that man?

God answered, “I AM WILLING.” (Matthew 8:3)
After God saying that, the man immediately (AGAD-AGAD) healed.

CONCLUSION:

Remember, God is ALWAYS willing to perform miracles in our lives. It’s up to us if we are willing or not.

“IT WON’T be a risk if you’ve heard God’s voice and choose to obey—it’s an assurance.”

Just like Abraham in Genesis 22:1–19, when God asked him to offer Isaac, his beloved son, as a sacrifice. From a human perspective, it looked like the ultimate risk—giving up the very promise God had given him. But Abraham obeyed, not because he was reckless, but because he was confident in the One who spoke.

“God will provide for himself the lamb for a burnt offering, my son.” GENESIS 22:8

And true enough, God did. A ram was caught in the thicket, and Isaac was spared. Abraham’s obedience unlocked God’s provision.

So when God speaks, what looks like a risk to the world is actually a step into divine certainty. Obedience isn’t blind—it’s anchored in trust.
