An earthly king of Yoruba ancestry is the Representative of The king of Kings that owns the earth and heaven that’s why earthly kings in Yorubaland bears the same name with God, they are named“Oba” after Oba awon Oba and greeted in Yoruba as “Kabiesi” a name only reserved for God Almighty in Yoruba language and only Yoruba Kings has this exclusive right !! An Oba rules over all in his domain but must stand and put his foot down to lead people to kabiesi OLODUMARE Oba awon Oba everytime. His main job is to tell his subjects about this position and his Master The king of Kings that appoints him and chooses him over all others that…. Only KABIESI OLODUMARE must be worshipped the earthly king must always defend that exclusive right of his root of kingship which He OLODUMARE alone must be worshipped ! Yoruba kings are no more ordinary people soon as they become king, You are privileged and preferred over many other Princes to guide your people to God and not to your past heroes and saints that needs to be prayed for and remembered but not for you to worship them (bibo tabi sinsin) . A king guides his people to the king of kings God Almighty OLODUMARE that’s the way to guide your people to the right path as a leader but many kings fears their subjects and chiefs and subjected their Crown to their deities and not to the Supreme Owner of the Land ! There is no deity that originates or has root from the Palace all were brought to the Palace only OLODUMARE is the owner of the palace (Eni toni Aafin or Alafin) …..
A king must be a leader and not follower “Aki je Oba katun lojo” You don’t get to become a king and still fear or cowed in to anyone except Olodumare God Almighty The king of all kings.

Monarchy is a huge sacrifice. If you know you can't offer yourself for humanity, don't near it. You must not Lord yourself over your people. As a father, a responsible one, you can't grab their land, illegally mine their natural resources or forceful acquisition of any of their properties. You must be there for them always and at a cost, defending their rights and positive interests. A capable king raises kings not slaves. I don't have slaves in my palace. I paid my staff. Slaves don't receive salaries. They are my children. I fix them at any available opportunities both at state and federal advantages.

Oluwo And Strange Happenings In His Palace

Last Tuesday, circa 4:20pm, the newly elected executive members of the Federation of Iwoland Students' Union (FILSU), visited the Oluwo of Iwoland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, in his palace for an introductory visit. Therein, the electoral chairman for the election eulogized Kabiesi for granting the use of the palace as the venue of the election. In Iwo, Oluwo palace is the defender of Democratic value. Some years back, there have been rancour in the conduct of the annual election. The election venue was moved to the palace three years ago to avoid recurring cases of violence disruption.

Using the palace as a venue for students' body election is unusual. It's a definition of a peaceful palace for all and sundry.

Same day, at the crossover night to a new year (2025), mammoth crowd left their respective home at midnight to join His Imperial Majesty in his palace for a crossover royal blessings. Amazingly, over 5,000 people thronged the palace for a crossover jolly moment. I've observed many palaces, no such records has ever been recorded.

In Yorubaland, most palaces are repository of idols. Oluwo made a bolf step and relocated over 800-year old Ogun shrine from his palace. Today, his palace remains one of the cleanest thrones in Yorubaland. The relocation was his strange remarkable attempt to return the glory of the stools to God alone.

These are many are the uniqueness of Oluwo to retore the pure glory of Yoruba monarchy as an institution of God.

Actualizing A New Nigeria In 2025, Oluwo Commends Nigerians, Assures Greener Future

Having a working nation requires a working system. Nigeria is a looted house. It has been emptied with cracked walls and leaked roof. Nigeria's prosperity is assured. A new foundation full of opportunities are being laid.

When a developing nation is to be developed, a painful drastic and radical approach has to be applied and subsequently embraced by her citizens. The surgical restructuring embarked on by the current administration is a foundational base to have a new Nigeria.

The autonomy granted to the local government autonomy should be enforced. One of the best relief Nigerians will enjoy and appreciate is the huge benefits attached to the workability of local authorities. It will restore the efficiency of government and largely reduce concentration on the state and federal governments.

In addition, the fuel subsidy removal is a necessary unapologetic step to effectively place Nigeria on the path of prosperity. I see a giant greenlight capable of making us proud again. When the fuel went higher, I protested. Today, its price is depreciating. Public and private refineries are springing up. A new hope is here. The challenging decision will pave a way for a prosperous tomorrow.

Nigerians have endured. Your perseverance is commended. We have survived the most challenging session of Nigeria's reform. We are moving to a new year with assurance of greatness,success and prosperity.

The government should do more in checkmating corruption. Capital punishment should be considered. We are progressing. We will be there but corruption must be radically fought at all levels and all costs.

I urge you all to encourage the elected leaders. They need our prayers. As we move into a new year, I pray for a more prosperous nation full of opportunities.

Yesterday, I attended the presentation of the Staff of Office to the Owa Obokun Adimula of Ijeshaland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Clement Adesuyi Haastrup, by the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Nurudeen Jackson Ademola Adeleke.

At the event, I noticed the love the good of the ancient city have and demonstrated for the new king. Equally, the preparedness of the Owa Obokun to further magnify his service to humanity was evidently manifested. The courage is pure.

I pray for him as he joins the institution. His reign shall be peaceful and productive. Once again, congratulations to the people of Ijeshaland.

Christmas: Oluwo Preaches Against Ritual Killings, Calls For Love

As we mark and celebrate 2024 Christmas, I call on Nigerians to embrace unity and love in the spirit of togetherness. All human creatures are products of Adamo and Awawu. We came from the same father and mother. Killing and fighting each other is synonymous to fighting and killing our brothers and sisters.

We should honour this sea*on of the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ to reflect on the many killings of Ritual Murderers among Yorubas, both male and female in outrageous numbers. Unfortunately, we read many cases of children killing his parents and vice versa. There is no single day such cases are not reported. People are killing for money, promotion, long life etc forgetting that all pleasures are exclusive assets of God. He blesses whoever he wishes. There is no shortcut. Every shortcut to progress and success is ephemeral. It can never last.

To all the perpetrators, fear God. Put yourself in the shoe. Imagine the pain you inflict on your victim and his or her family. God has a way of rewarding your deeds. You can't be smarter than God. Today is not too late to repent.

Yesterday, I honoured Dr. Florence Ajimobi, at the 75th Posthumous birthday of his late husband, the former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.

It was a moment of reflection on the impactful life of the late Ajimobi. The session was committed to extolling the virtues of the former Governor and brainstorm on proffering practicable solutions to Nigeria challenges focusing on Legislative oversight and accountability.

I commended Dr. Florence Ajimobi and her family for sustaining and promoting the legacies of her husband. She has demonstrated her loyalty and I've strong conviction that she will continuously be rewarded by nature.

The Deputy Senate President, Distinguished Senator Barau Jibrin (CFR), House majority leader, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele and a House of Representative member, Prof. Julius Ihonvbere did justice as discussants threw challenging remarks.

Today, I had a brief session with the Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin, Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele, House Leader, Senator Buhari and others before we proceeded to the University of Ibadan to honour Dr. Florence Ajimobi at the 75th Posthumous birthday of her late husband, the former Governor of Oyo State, Dr. Abiola Ajimobi. It was an interesting session at Abiola Ajimobi Resource Centre, University of Ibadan, as issues bordering on Legislative Oversight and Accountability were discussed by stakeholders.
