This was sent to us by a viewer last night taken from our video inside Jimmy Allen’s in Durham. I didn’t spot it at the time or in production afterwards, but now it’s been pointed out, it’s obvious. It’s possible it is just a case of pareidolia (where the brain sees something and mistakenly thinks it resembles something else, ie cloud formations), but this was captured in the room that was once a prison morgue, on the same stone floor where the bodies of executed prisoners would be left for days until they could be buried. To us, it looks like the outline of a face, or at least head and shoulders... The screenshot isn’t clear as the camera was in motion, but I’ve attached a clip of the moment the camera moves over the face. This was also less than a minute before we heard footsteps outside that were also picked up on our mics. What an amazing place this was!
