SCAMMER TARGET POLICE CANDIDATE

The provincial commissioner of police ,Lt Gen Thembi Hadebe , has cautioned communities against scammers who are soliciting bribes for possible enlistment as police trainees .
This is after SAPS Limpopo , especially in the mopane district received over fifteen reports from candidate who had written spychometric test for possible entry into the SAPS .
According to reports,the scammers call prospective applicants for the SAPS Basic Training immediately after written their psychometric test to pay money in exchange for passing the psychometric assessment .
Community members should never fall prey to such scammer ; police jobs are not for sale .under no circumstances will a police official ask for money in exchange for a job .we wish to issue a stern warning to scammers that their days are numbered.

Ba-Phalaborwa Municipality Mayor, Cllr Merriam Malatji joined by Road Agency Limpopo (RAL) Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr Gabriel Maluleke has today officially introduced contractors for the upgrading of Road D3786 in Mashishimale and the rehabilitation of Roads D4424 from Matikoxikaya to Lulekani (Post Office to Shipamele Primary School) and D3786 from Maseke to Mashishimale connecting the R71 road.

This follows the SOD Turning Ceremony held on 31 October 2023 with Palabora Mining Company (PMC), and Roads Agency Limpopo (RAL).

The programme started with the visit to Majeje, Mashishimale and Maseke Traditional Authorities.

Mayor, Cllr Merriam Malatji says this project will contribute to the social and economic upliftment of the areas as the routes support businesses, clinics, schools and local communities.

The Mayor was accompanied by the Speaker, Cllr Oliver Mabunda, Chief Whip, Cllr Didodo Rapatsa and EXCO Members as well as councillors.
