The ONternet is part; DJ Turntablist collective and part; on-line authoritative blog in the open-format Turntablist music world. Both the blog and the collective are wholy focused on the musicality of DJ’ing - ‘it’s not what you play, it’s how you play it!’

With a sound firmly rooted in Hip hop, Funk, Soul & original breaks we also recognise the need to not to be limited by these ‘genre

boundaries’, this passionate emphasis on open format DJ’ing has lead to the release of some of the most creative and unique sounding mixtape’s to date! Formed of a roster of Turntablist, finger-drummers, Mc’s & producers we have graced clubs, bars and festival’s stages from Europe through to Australasia, wether it’s playing shows at traditional festivals like; Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party, Boomtown, The Big Chill or our renowned residencies at some of London’s most iconic venues like: XOYO, Cafe 1001, Passing Clouds, Dalston Roof Park or our past shows opening for legends like; JFB, DJ Format, Jeru The Damaja & WeFunk Radio amongst others. Expect heavily pre-prepared and dynamic sets, themed to specific events and brimming with all the engaging elements of turntablism, from scratching & cutting to matching & drumming we’ll keep you moving. The ONternet continues to push the boundaries beyond the norm and wow us with their innate sense of what it takes to make the masses feel alive again. The Blog:
The blog aims to be a one-stop-shop of a huge array of aggregated content from DJ's that span the globe - 'we do the fishing so you don't have to'. On the blog you will find a whole host of specifically curated, superior quality but easily accessible Scratch Routines, Themed Mixes & Live Streams. We work to give DJ's the opportunity to be heard by the people they’ve always dreamed would vibe to their music. Maximum exposure is great, quality exposure is better.
