My Letter To The Industry PART 1

It’s 2025 and we won’t go down this road again. It’s ok to not have similar interests and it’s also ok to exchange banters but there is a line we must not cross especially that which undermines the peace and tranquility of our beloved nation.

In recent times we have experienced an intense rejuvenation of the music industry which has reignited the hearts of Sierra Leoneans to support its growth. Festivals, concerts and shows in the past few years are evident witnesses to this claim. Furthermore, there’s been an influx of new acts into the mainstream who are effecting the trajectory of our music. Hence, it will be very unfortunate to see a dark cloud rise to shadow the shine the industry is yearning for.

Entertainment is business and seeing such burning passion and love from fans, money should be the goal not violence. As an entertainment sector it falls within our purpose to uplift and entertain. Let’s do just that and make money while doing it. We have a responsibility to shape the minds of our people and the future of the generation behind us. Our voice is powerful and our influence, impactful. Let’s use it to an occasion of bridging gaps and not burning bridges.

The narrative must change and we must take the lead. Me, myself and I Joseph Sedu Koroma aka Nash*to Kulala will forever continue to defend and hold our industry at its highest esteem because we are worthy and different in soceity. We have come a long way and we have not come this far to lose.
