Thanks to the Lakota People's Law Project for sending out an email about the Muwekma's presence in DC since Indigenous Peoples Day, where they have been met with brutality after a cross-country horseback ride where they were welcomed and treated with respect.

Brothers and sisters from the Wixárika community of TATEIKIE have maintained a constant day and night vigil since October 2nd in the Sierra Madre Occidental, near the ranch where the brothers and sisters disappeared, calling on all three levels of government to bring justice and ensure the safe return of their loved ones.

"Good morning... we remain strong... waiting for results... we want justice for the Wixárika community of Tatei kie... have a great day... IKU REZA," are some of the messages shared on social media.
