The original Radio Free Scotland ran between 1956-1965 broadcast through the sound channel of BBC television. This incarnation of RFS launched officially to coincide with the SNP conference (October 2007) by a group of patriots that believe that independence is the correct path for Scotland. Sadly, due to one person's greed and stupidity, the whole project fell into abeyance as he had the only acc

ess to the licence and equipment (paid for by other people, needless to say) to continue to broadcast. He will no doubt be grateful that we refuse to identify him publicly, though he should bear in mind that his duplicity and back-stabbing have not been forgiven or forgotten. What goes around comes around.
