This storm went through southern Pontotoc county today started ramping up for a split second and produced this hail shaft. It weakened about 15 minutes later.

95 percent chance of a PDS tornado watch issuance from central Oklahoma to western Oklahoma including the OKC metro area! What is a PDS you might ask well that means a “potentially dangerous situation” so please be weather aware and have a plan! If a storm pops up near you just know all storms today that fire will have a chance to produce a strong tornado!!

Damaging winds and large hail are the main threats tonight. The TORNADO THREAT is there but very low! But like always have a plan and be weather aware as the afternoon and evening approaches. Stay tuned for more updates as they come available!
