Welcome to the PASPlanet!
Born as the atom-smashing idea of Australian creatives hungry to make collaborative magic, PASTEL Magazine is the high-saturation literary zine with an eye for eccentric and experimental artists and artworks, across print and online platforms.
Seeking talent unafraid to use every color in the crayon box, PASTEL aims to give voice to the fringes, empower existing and emerging artists to create without restriction, and to celebrate the color of creativity.
Inside each vibrant edition, you’ll find the coolest artists about town, and a smorgasbord of their stunning work to whet your paints and stir your palette. It’s all so good, if we were ever to stage PASTEL’s Next Top Contributor, we just couldn’t send anybody home (we’d be on air for a long time).
PASTEL is us, it’s you, it’s our contributors, our readers, our supporters, artists in Australia, artists around the world, artists in other dimensions, artists on the astral plane, and even those inner-city commuters who pass our A5 flyers slapped haphazardly to concrete walls and think “oh yeah, that looks alright”.
