Trapped in darkness for far too long,
I feel its grips, so cold and strong.
For every moment, it tears at my soul,
Leaving me broken, no longer whole.

In the shadows, it seems to linger,
A haunting presence, a constant finger.
It stares back at me, unrelenting and stark,
A reminder that I am just a spark.

In the depths of darkness, I am alone,
But with its stare, I am not unknown.
For when you're trapped for too long in the night,
You find the darkness is your own frightening light.

Each night you sense that I'm by you
You feel my breath as you sleep
You hear the faint creak of the floorboards
As out from the shadows I creep

My presence lingers in the air
A chilling, eerie feeling surrounds
You try to shake off the fear
But it's no use, my grip abounds

I am the ghost of your past
Haunting you in your dreams
Seeking revenge for what you did
Till your heart surrenders and screams

So try to run, try to hide
But each night I'll be by your side
For you can't escape what you've done
Your guilt and I, forever intertwined as one.

In the beginning, there was only light
A blinding force, burning bright
But then came darkness, a stark contrast
A void of nothingness that seemed to last

For centuries, they were seen as foes
Light and dark, never to come close
But as I sit here and ponder
I can't help but wonder

What if this relationship we've assumed
Is not entirely consumed
By hatred and fear
But rather, something more sincere

For without darkness, how can we see
The beauty of light, so pure and free
And without light, can darkness exist
A thought, I must insist

Perhaps they are not enemies
But two sides of the same coin, if you please
One cannot exist without the other
A unique bond, like no other

In the depths of darkness, there is mystery
A chance to explore and unlock history
And in the brightness of light
We find hope and strength to fight

So let us rethink this relationship
And embrace both light and dark with fellowship
For in their harmony, we may find
A balance, a peace of mind

And as the sun sets and darkness falls
I no longer fear its beckoning calls
For I know that soon, the light will shine
And in its radiance, I'll find my sign

The relationship between light and dark
Is not as simple as we thought, hark
For in their dance, we see the beauty
Of life, and all its complexity.

Where steak tips sizzle, tender and fine,
Teriyaki sauce dances with grace.

Japanese omelette, a golden embrace,
Adds richness and depth to each bite we find,
Shiitake mushrooms, earthy and kind,
Together they create a taste that enchase.

Furikake sprinkles, a touch of delight,
With mizuna's crunch, the perfect embrace,
A symphony of textures, a savory space.

This Beef Teriyaki Sandwich takes flight,

Is it my secrets you're searching for
Or the mysteries that I hold

Do you crave to unravel my past
And see the scars that still last
Or are you simply drawn to the unknown
In me, a sense of intrigue has grown

But be warned, for with every layer you peel

For I am a puzzle, ever-changing and deep

Drinking and smoking, the night will go fast
No screens to distract us, just good old fun
Laughing and joking, till the night is done

No need for Wi-Fi, we'll connect in real life
Sharing stories and memories, with no need for a device

It's time to smoke some greens,
And escape reality's tight grip.
The smoke swirls and dances,
In the dimly lit room,
Whispering secrets and lies,
As the darkness consumes.
Lost in the haze of greens,
Time slips away,

In this dark, complex play.
