Hi! Just me here, posting in this feed that has been quiet for a month. November flew by in a flash, but I’d love to share what I’ve been up to!

I started the month out strong with my first in-person speaking engagement (see previous post for more on that). It was an exciting and invigorating new experience. Then, I dove deep back into ex*****on mode, prepping everything that needed prepping for my week-long absense beginning on the 11th of the month.

If you’ve been watching on stories, you may know I spent that week on a female founder’s retreat in Barbados hosted by the lovely . We worked, swam, ate, exercised, laughed, cried, and expanded what we all thought was possible. I came home with some amazing new friendships and strong ideas for the direction of Main Paige Media in 2024.

Then, 24 hours after my return to MA, I came down with the flu. Let me just hop on my soapbox right now and tell anyone who will listen to get the flu shot! I hadn’t gotten mine (I simply forgot about it) and wow - Influenza A is not anyone’s friend. I was completely out of comission for the entire week I returned, skipped 3 Thanksgiving dinners, and only operated at about 50% the following week.

And then BAM - it was December 1st!

2023 has been a busy and exciting year for us. In the past I’ve taken December to see just how much more I can accomplish before year end, but this year December will be intentionally quiet. I’m taking this month slowly and using my time to prep for the new year. In 2024 I’m excited to lean more on my talented team, explore new creative avenues, and prioritize rest.

🇪🇸 In college I studied abroad in Barcelona. I was actually fortunate enough to travel to Madrid with my high school AP Spanish class and fell in love with the country. Since then, I’ve been back to Spain 3 more times to visit different parts of the country (all of which were added on extra long layovers after work trips) and I’m certainly not done with Spain yet!!

📍While I live on the North Shore, I’m actually a South Shore native 🫣 I know, traitorous! I grew up in Braintree, MA.

🎿 I’m a skier! I only used to ski once, maybe twice per year. Now, I’m a season pass holder and go as often as my schedule allows! This past winter I went on a ski trip to Big Sky, Montana and holy wow 🤩 It was surreal.

When I started Main Paige Media, I joined a mastermind for folks starting video production companies. Our group had 45 video business owners. Three of us were women.

Video is a very male dominated industry. 23.9% of all videographers are women, while 76.1% are men (Zippia). When I started this company I knew I wanted to create more jobs for women in film.

You'll see in this photo our amazing team. Three of these women have been working with Main Paige Media for 2-4 years! It's been so exciting to watch them grow and evolve with the company.

Hailey Lowenstein was our first intern. She came on board in 2021 and immediately blew me away. Today she's a valued production assistant and editor.

Kiana Ortega is our newest hire. She's our Video Production Associate helping with all things behind the scenes.

Amelia Oon is our incredibly talented illustrator and animator based in New York!

Amber L. Krasinski has been here since the beginning! She's a production assistant, videographer, editor, and all around powerhouse .

If we work together, you may encounter these women or some of out other amazing freelance women in film as well like Madeleine Philbrook, video editor, Binita Mandalia, videographer & assistant, and Anna Webster, videographer.

As we grow and opportunities arise we will continue to work with freelance women in film and help elevate their careers.

Today we celebrate 4️⃣ years of Main Paige Media 🎉🍾

I left my 9-5 on Friday April 5, 2019. Monday April 8th, 2019 was my first official day operating Main Paige Media.

I’m so proud of all we’ve accomplished, grateful for every person who’s been a member of the team for these past 4 years, and excited to see how we continue to grow in years to come.

These four years have introduced me to some of the most amazing people and taken me to places I never expected.

Share why your work excites you!

Our client, Judy Carmody, Ph.D. wanted to do to showcase her company, Carmody Quality Solutions, and their trademarked approach to quality in the life science space. We did this through a Video Business Card that not only outlined this trademarked approach, but also emphasized why Judy is the right partner.

She explains with such authenticity her enthusiasm behind scientific and pharmaceutical development. In her industry, quality control can be seen as a nuisance, a road block, or as she puts it, a policing organization.

Through video we were able to show that Judy is the opposite of that. She's a true partner to her clients and genuinely wants them to succeed.

We shot this video in one day, on location in Worcester with the always valuable assistance of Amber Krasinski. Thank you, Judy, for choosing Main Paige Media!

Anyone else loving this rainy day? Usually I’m not on board with the grey and gloom, but today I’m loving the cozy vibes.

On a less rainy day the lovely .surette snapped this pic and I thought I’d use it to accompany a reintroduction to my new followers!

🙈 While my social accounts may make it look like I have my s**t totally together, I currently have 4 cups and two water bottles on my desk and a birds nest of unidentified cords in my office. And don’t even get me started on the number of screenshots of random things on my desktop… pobody’s nerfect.

📍After college I lived in Somverville, MA for 6 years, but last year I moved to Beverly and have fallen in love with the north shore. Living half a mile from the beach is a dream.

You know what day it is - !

Maureen Brown of Advocacy for Special Kids is a -powerhouse-

I cannot emphasize enough how amazing this woman is and the fire within her for her work.

We shot this video in 90 minutes. Yes - NINTY MINUTES - in one of our solopreneur signature sessions.

I wanted for so long to create a more cost effective offering for the fantastic womxn solopreneurs in my network [without sacrificing my rates - charge your worth, ladies].

Earlier this year I cracked the code - multiple 90 minute sessions in one day. This way I could keep my costs down on space, crew, & gear, and these women could get a high quality production in a short and sweet session!

Oh hey! It seems I haven’t posted on social in about a month. Between client work and some time off from contracting covid 😷 social media has fallen by the wayside!

I thought I’d take this opportunity to re-introduce myself to any new followers! So hi - I’m Paige! Owner & Founder of Main Paige Media.

We are a strategic video production agency with a remote team, but I am based in Beverly, MA. A few more facts about me:

- While many people think I attended Simmons University, I am actually a graduate of The confusion is because I worked at Simmons for long enough to obtain an undergradate degree!

- I’m a former dancer! From the ages of 2 to 27 I was in dance studios, on dance teams, and in dance companies 💃

- I’m extremely passionate about working with other women-owned businesses. I’ve had the great pleasure of working with so many companies and non-profits that uplift women and am excited to continue this work! 👩🏽‍🤝‍👩🏼

- I’m also a big animal lover. You’ll see my dog, Willow, on my stories from time to time. It’s actually on my vision board this year to work on a video production for a company that works with animals (think dog trainer, equestrian school, veterinarian, etc!) Stay tuned to see if I can accomplish this goal before the end of the year! 🐾
