🔍 As you can see scammers are using WhatsApp to deceive professionals. Please be cautious and follow these tips to protect yourself:

1. **Verify the Source:** Always research the company and cross-check the job offer with their official website.

2. **No Fees:** Legitimate employers won't ask for upfront fees or personal financial information in the recruitment process.

3. **Check the Contact:** Ensure the phone number used for communication is linked to a real company, not a personal number.

4. **Grammar and Spelling:** Beware of poorly written messages. Scammers often make mistakes.

5. **Face-to-Face Interviews:** Insist on a physical or video interview before sharing personal information.

6. **Too Good to Be True:** If the offer seems too good to be true, it probably is.

If you click the link it will eventually take you to a fake page where it will ask you to enter your login info.

Today I'm back in the office having spent the past week on a job site in France. 🇫🇷
This time I was filming an installation and marketing video for one of my fantastic clients. The weather proved challenging at times, but everyone pulled together to get the job done. 🌧
The footage will be used to train distributors and increase product knowledge and sales.

SCAM AWARENESS

Ok to today we have another example of a scam post. This was actually sent to one of my personal business accounts (hence why I felt inclined to be a little more sarcastic with them).

They start by sending you a message for help from a legitimate account, one that you are following (this is the last account in the "scam chain"). When you respond they ask if they can send you a link because they have been locked out of their account. If you agree then they will use your number (which you give them) to get an Instagram verification code. Just to be clear, once you give them this code they have YOUR username, phone number and verification code. They then use this information to access YOUR account. They then lock you out, change the password, email address and the cycle of scamming goes on.....

If you receive a strange message from someone you don't know, or an uncharacteristic message from someone you do, ALWAYS contact them another way for verification. Go onto their website and give them a call just to make sure it's legitimate. Don't become the next link in the Scam Chain
