We are teaming up with The Dancing Cat in San Jose, CA to help raise money for the wonderful cat rescue services they provide!

A $20 donation reserves you a spot at the 2-hour event where you will be surrounded by fun games and friendly furry friends!

This fun-filled game night supports The Dancing Cat, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit / animal rescue organization dedicated to saving local at-risk cats from the City of San José Animal Care Center. Adults cats -- who have the hardest time finding their forever homes -- are brought into an open, cage-free, home-like environment at The Dancing Cat's adoption lounge in downtown San Jose, CA, where they can recuperate, relax, play, and mingle with visitors and potential adopters.

This game night will be held in the adoption lounge! Get ready for some feline assistance as you puzzle and play.

Ticket price goes toward the continued care and feeding of The Dancing Cat's adoptable cats.

extrememadness created an illustration of Caesura, Adventuring Poet, one of the characters in our upcoming card game, Swirling Heroes! extrememadness's shimmering color palette, assortment of origami shapes, and bold brush strokes for outlines, shadows, and highlights put Caesura in her best light!

The original illustration of Caesura was created by .shoujo on Instagram! mahou.shoujo hosted this DTIYS contest on her Instagram page. Be sure to check out both .shoujo and on their social media pages!

neo_raktoon created an illustration of Healani, Heartsflower Apothecarist, one of the characters in our upcoming, successfully crowdfunded card game, Swirling Heroes! neo_raktoon's skillful use of bright colors, attention to detail, and ability to capture the positive spirit of Healani has made their illustration a definite attention-grabber!

✨ Fanime 2023 was an amazing weekend! We played Swirling Heroes and Gosh Darn Bubbles with TONS of people and shared lots of laughs!

Swirling Heroes is a casually strategic number matching puzzle card game for 2-4 players featuring beautiful illustrations by amazing artists from around the world. It is easy to learn and quick to play, with an excellent balance of strategy and fun!

Players take turns placing one card from their hand next to one or more cards on the play field, making sure the numbers on their card are next to matching numbers. After a card is placed, every card next to it gets Swirled (rotated 180 degrees), changing the positions of the numbers on those cards.

Players continue placing and Swirling cards until all cards have been played. The play field grows organically based on card placement, creating a new, unique collage of artworks each time you play!

To determine the winner, each player adds up the values of all the Exposed Numbers on their own cards. (Exposed Numbers are numbers that do not have a card positioned next to them.) The player with the highest total number value wins!

A simple set of two mechanics (card placement and card Swirling) creates just the right amount of complexity to be interesting and fun for both kids and adults.

Hey everyone! We are in the Art Phase of the development of our new card game, Swirling Heroes, and the time has come to make an official announcement!

Some of you have already playtested it at certain conventions I have been to recently heh heh heh… 😎

Swirling Heroes is a casual, thoughtful, and strategic number matching puzzle game for 2-4 players. Just like Gosh Darn Bubbles, Swirling Heroes takes 1 minute to learn, 5-15 minutes to play, and features beautiful artwork by several fantastic artists from around the world! It will be swirls of fun for Ages 10+, I guarantee it. 😁
