NKST PRIMARY HEALTH CARE SERVICES STAFF ASSOCIATION PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO NKST GENERAL SECRETARY.
NKST General Secretary, Rev. Titus Agesa Targba, PhD. today received the delegation of the Staff Association of NKST Primary Health Care Services in his office at the NKST Secretariat, Mkar.
They were in his office to pay him a solidarity visit and identify with him on his elevation as NKST Chief Scribe.
In a speech signed by their Chairman, Mr. Dennis C. Akor and Secretary, Mr. Atsaka Peter Akaha reads, "we the EXCO and Staff, NKST PHCS are here to congratulate you on your well deserved election as the General Secretary of NKST". The Association also pledged their loyalty and support to him and NKST Church.
According to them, NKST PHCS is the bedrock of health care services delivery system.
They however lamented that PHCS being an essential component of health care which ought to be practically accessible to all, they are faced with a lot of challenges that are hindering them from discharging their duties effectively. Some of the challenges mentioned by the association were non promotion, salary payments, official vehicle of the Director for effective supervision, accommodation and lack of drugs at the central store among others. They pleaded GS to use his good office and look into the issues and also generate funds for NKST PHCS.
Responding on behalf of NKST, the Asst. Gen. Secretary, Rev. Chris Annger, PhD. applauded their visit saying, they have done the right thing and asked God to replenish their efforts.
Leading the delegation was the Director, NKST PHCS, Mr. Samuel T. Alyewan.
Present at the occasion were NKST Treasurer, Rev. S. T. Igyor, CPAN and Health Executive Secretary, Rev. Godwin Iyorayia.
The General Secretary was dressed in Tiv Traditional attire as a reputable Tiv Son.

NKST ANBER FELICITATES WITH REV. CHRISTOPHER T. ANNGER, PhD.
NKST ANBER has felicitated with Rev. Christopher T. Annger,PhD on his appointment as NKST Assistant General Secretary.
This was contained in a letter dated 7th March, 2024 and signed by Rev. Andrew Gomo Ebe, the Pastor in-Charge of NKST Anber and Secretary, Elder Uumbe Simeon Tortese on behalf of the Elders and congregation of NKST Anber and addressed to Rev. Christopher T. Annger, PhD.
The letter was handed over to Rev. C. T. Annger, PhD. in his office at the NKST Secretariat in Mkar by Pastor and Elders of the Church.
Part of the letter reads:
"The Pastor/Elders and entire Congregation of NKST Anber with praises and thanksgiving to God heartily felicitate with you over your upliftment by the November 2023 Synod convention of the NKST as the ASSISTANT GENERAL SECRETARY of NKST World wide".
The letter also attributed the appointment of Rev. C. T. Annger,PhD as an affirmation of the tittle, "Illuminating Star" given to him by NKST Anber, his home Church during the 50th Anniversary of the Consistory. It further called on him to allow the illuminating star in him to guide him propagate God's Word both at home and beyond.
The letter also admonished Rev. C. T. Annger, PhD "to work in harmony with his colleagues in Council and Secretariat headed by the President of NKST, Rev. N. A. Adure, JP.
The Pastor and Elders prayed God for his good physical and Spiritual health and those of his family members to enable him carry out his duties effectively.
Responding, Rev. C. T. Annger, PhD on behalf of his family, expressed gratitude to God Almighty and thanked his home Church for demonstrating such show of love to him. He called on them to always stand by him through prayers adding, "with your prayers, me and the entire Cabinet shall never disappoint you and NKST at large and most importantly, God in heaven.
In his remarks, NKST General Secretary, Rev. Titus Agesa Targba,PhD said, NKST Anber has done well by coming to pay homage to their son and encourage him. The NKST GS called on God to bless them abundantly and prayed for their safe return to their destination.
You may recall that NKST Synod of November 2023, elected new Executive Committee to run the affairs of the Church in the next three years which Rev. C. T. Annger, PhD was elected and returned Assistant General Secretary.
Rev. C. T. Annger, PhD had previously lectured at College of Education Katsina-Ala in the Department of Christian Religious Studies. Before his new appointment, he was the Pastor in-Charge, NKST Kaduna.

With gratitude to God, we announce the transition unto glory of Rev. P. M. Kur.
A statement by the NKST General Secretary, Rev. Agesa Titus Targba, Ph. D. states the burial arrangement as follows:
WAKE: 5th February, 2024.
BURIAL: 6th. February, 2024.
PLACE: NKST Gbagir, Ukum LGA of Benue State.
Rev. P. M. Kur has served as Director, NKST Youth Ministry. Until his transition, he was a seniour lecturer with Reformed Bible College Harga.
He was also a member and Veteran actor in the Drama and Film Production Unit of the NKST Media Services.
By this notice, all NKST Media zones and members are enjoined to attend his burial to give honour to him.
We pray God to console the family over the loss and grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

NKST 4TH EVANGELISM /FREE MEDICAL OUTREACH KICKS OFF TODAY
The 4th Evangelism/Free Medical Outreach for the year 2024 of the Nongo u Kristu u i Ser u Sha Tar-NKST (The Universal Reformed Christian Church) commenced today at Jaki, Kwande LGA of Benue State on the theme, "Turn from darkness to light" (Acts 26:18).
The team departed Mkar, the headquarters of the NKST Church today.
Sending them forth, the NKST General Secretary, Rev. T. A. Targba,Ph.D. enjoined all participants to be focused and dedicated to the work God has bestowed on them as His workers in the vineyard.
A total number of 155 preachers have been engaged for the exercise and a medical team of 21 doctors and other health personnels headed by Dr. Samuel Tor Agbidye of Family Practice Hospital Makurdi are on ground for the free medical outreach.
The evangelism exercise is headed by Rev. Dr. P. O. Tyoga and Rev. Paul Akaa as Secretary, while the NKST Treasurer, Rev. S. T. Igyor, CPAN serves as Treasurer. Other members include: Rev. Dr. J. T. Iorkighir, Rev. Dr. S. T. Atim Daa, Director NKST Mission, Atese M. Makpum,NKST Women Leader, Atese L. N. Abawua, Rev. Prof. G. I. Akper and Rev. Prof. Tersur Aben.
The exercise lasts for 7 days.

The NKST Executive Committee and NKST delegates have departed Mkar, the headquarters of NKST Church early hours of today for Jalingo, Taraba State to participate in the TEKAN General Assembly. The delegation is led by the NKST President, Rev. N. A. Adure, JP.
The conference is expected to last for one week.
TEKAN is the umbrella body of all Christian Reformed Churches in Nigeria.
We pray for their safe travel, happy stay and fruitful deliberations.

NKST GENERAL SECRETARY INAUGURATES NEW BOARDS.
NKST General Secretary, Rev. Titus Agesa Targba, Ph.D. today 8th. January, 2024 inaugurated new members on the boards of NKST Departments and institutions.
The occasion took place at the Education Hall, NKST Secretariat, Mkar. He was assisted by the Assistant General Secretary, Rev. Chris Annger, Ph.D. and NKST Treasurer, Rev. S. T. Igyor, CPAN.
Inaugurating the new members, the Chief Scribe charged all members to discharge their duties diligently, taking cognisance that they are going to give account of their stewardship to God. He reiterated that the present leadership shall do everything possible to move the Church forward.
Responding on behalf of the new members, Rev. Prof. Akper, Deputy VC ICT and Research with National Open University of Nigeria who was inaugurated as Chairman Board RTS, thanked the Church for the honour given to them and promised to discharge their responsibility for the glory of God.
