Semmi - Official Trailer
Going to the big screen! ✨🔥
We are extremely happy to announce, that "Nothing", the film-adapted theatre play we produced with Budapest Bábszínház will debut in the prestigious Uránia Film Theatre on March 21st.
The play is based on the famous book of Janne Teller, carrying the same name.
This is especially exciting, as there are very few films in this genre, and we are very proud to be among the first ones to embark on such an endeavour. The shooting took nearly a week, and was followed by countless hours of post-production.
Let us share with you the official trailer, and we are happy to see you on Monday if you are in the area!

Today, we are honoring the 230th anniversary of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's death.
Today, we are honoring the 230th anniversary of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's death. We invite you to enjoy an excerpt of our concert film from Kaposfest, "Bella mia fiamma addio" K. 528, perfomed by the talented soprano Emőke Baráth and the Liszt Ferenc Kamarazenekar / Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra.
Let us share with you the inspiring story of the piece:
In 1787, when Mozart traveled to Prague for the premiere of his Don Giovanni, he stayed at the composer Franz Duschek and his wife, soprano Josepha Duscheks home. After the premiere, Mozart wrote the aria, "Bella mia fiamma", because Josepha locked him in a garden house, refusing to release him until he had composed for her an aria. Mozart submitted himself to the necessary; but to avenge himself for the trick Frau Duschek had played on him, he used various difficult-to-sing passages in the aria, and threatened his despotic friend that he would immediately destroy the aria if she could not succeed in performing it at sight without mistakes.

Libertango is Piazzolla's one of the most performed works.✨ Its spicy rhythms melody revolutionized tango music. 💃
"Libertad" in Spanish means "liberty", and "tango" - the title Libertango is symbolizing the artist's break from classical tango to tango nuevo. The Argentine composer incorporated elements of jazz and classical music into the compositions. 🎼
We are sharing with you a short excerpt from this fantastic tango music which we filmed this year with the Anima Musicae Kamarazenekar - Anima Musicae Chamber Orchestra
🎥 At Pilvax Films, we are committed to creating films in this cinematic philosophy. If we can help making your music visible too, feel free to contact us.

Gilbert Varga and the Pannon Philharmonic performing Romanian Dance Op.8a of Béla Bartók
Today we celebrate the 100th anniversary of Tibor Varga's birthday with a beautiful concert conducted by his son, Gilbert Varga and the Pannon Filharmonikusok, filmed by our enthusiastic team.
Tibor Varga made his debut at the age of six, playing the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto at the age of ten when he was also admitted to the Franz Liszt Academy of Music.
Conductor, music teacher, university lecturer, composer, violinist, founder and organizer, Tibor Varga was a very active and devoted classical music personality. He emigrated to London in 1947, then taught in Detmold from 1949.
From 1956 he lived in Sion, Switzerland, where he founded the Festival Tibor Varga (1964–2001), which during nearly four decades was one of the leading international music festivals with concerts broadcast all over the world. In addition, in 1967, he established the annual International Tibor Varga Violin Competition, one of the most prestigious competitions of its genre.
The Capriccio-Etude, which he composed for four violins, became the official anthem of the European University Association at the Conference of European Rectors (Graz) in 2003.
We remember him at his 100th birthday with an excerpt from the Romanian Dance Op.8a of Béla Bartók
Budapest Festival Orchestra - Closer | Short Advertisement
After nearly a year and a half of being closed and isolated, we all feel relieved to reopen the gates of the concert halls. Still, it is also clear that the recent period has also brought opportunities for renewal along with its own challenges.
Live and/or recorded streaming of the concerts, performances, or theatre plays became an opportunity for the classical music and art scene to reach a wider audience, an instrument for strengthening their online presence.
We are honoured to be part of such a transformation of such significance and support orchestras, musicians, and performing artists by providing high-quality services.
Let us show you one of our works from 2020 with BFO - Budapest Festival Orchestra, a short advertisement for their online streams. The ad is built around the theme "Closer to you" in a fun and friendly tone.

Let’s listen today this piece composed by the celebrant of the week, Gabriel Fauré.
We filmed this charming melody La Bonne Chanson, op. 61, performed by Emőke Baráth (singer), Julien Quentin (piano), Marc Bouchkov - Violinist (violin), Kirill Troussov (violin), Máté Szűcs (viola), Bence Dániel Horváth (bass) in 2020, on Kaposfest, International Music and Arts Festival.
What do we celebrate this week?
Gabriel Fauré, French composer, organist, pianist and teacher, was born on May 12, 1845. We celebrate this week his birthday with La Bonne Chanson, Op. 61, a song cycle of nine mélodies for voice and piano. The cycle is based on nine of the poems from the collection of the same name by Paul Verlaine. It is also a journey of love, written while having an affair with an amateur singer, Emma Bardac. Fauré’s selection of Paul Verlaine’s poems reflects his own emotional journey at the time.

Interview with Iván Fischer | We have to keep the fire burning
Enjoy Iván Fischer's encouraging message about listening to music, filmed by Pilvax Films! His words couldn't be more actual, and we inevitably get goosebumps, as his sentences touch our heart.
So, as he said: "keep the fire burning".

"One has to keep the fire burning. It’s not always easy. After the collapse of the Roman Empire, we had to wait for approximately eight hundred years until Giotto emerged, Botticelli, Michelangelo, and finally, the fire was on again.
It shouldn’t take eight hundred years now. We had this pandemic, it took us a few years, but now we have to continue. So meanwhile, please listen to music! If you cannot come to live performance, it’s on your computer screen. Please listen, to keep you trained, to keep the music float into you, that you don’t forget about it! And then, see you again in live concerts next year! "
Peter Eötvös's thoughts on livestreaming
Curious what are Peter Eötvös's thoughts on livestreaming?
He shared some really exciting views!
Enjoy this excerpt from our interview we produced on the occasion of his new world premiere - Siren's Song.
"Questions arise regarding a symphony orchestra about their social structure, their finances, their rehearsal and concert facilities. This period, the time of the pandemic, where we find ourselves now, is the best example to observe concerts get cancelled and the musicians themselves don't know whether they are going to have a concert the next day or not.
Yet they have found an alternative solution, an electronic solution, streaming that enables them to give a concert, but the audience is not physically present in the concert hall, but watch them from all over the world.
This, for instance, I don't consider negative at all.
Whether the audience is inside or outside, just signifies a completely different relationship. Audience numbers are much higher and giving concerts in a concert hall with excellent acoustics is a fundamental duty. If the space was acoustically inadequate, the sound couldn't reach the listeners in appropriate quality.
What is an absolute necessity is that the social network of the orchestra doesn't only come about on the stage between them, but they establish a relationship also with their audience. The audience essentially shapes the quality of concert productions. Very much so."
