ke Warrior King, Natty King, Utan Green et al which enabled him to develop an understanding of the music industry. This early introduction and exposure empowered him to realize and appreciate that he can create and perform Reggae music. Wezdum the Fya Prince believes that irrespective of your culture music has the ability to stimulate love and positive meditation and for this reason he earnestly desired to becoming a performing artiste. Notwithstanding Wezdum’s parents’ belief in the importance of a sound education, they did not prevent him from expressing himself through music. Wezdum posits that “Music is in his blood and there is no way around it”, he explains that when “musician listen music it is totally different from just hearing a sound.”
Wezdum got much inspiration from several local reggae and international artiste such as Bob Marley and Peter Tosh. Separate and apart from music, Wezdum gets his Inspiration from nature, as he is always meditating deeply about life itself and reading. Wezdum (The Fyah Prince) has developed in the music industry and is now learning how to market and promote his music worldwide; as a result the artiste is working assiduously with the Step by Step Band all over the Island.
“The Fyah Prince” has had the privileged to perform live on several platforms namely: Bess FM Jamaican Radio at the Step by Step Birthday Bash in 2014; the Ministry of Youth and Culture Road show # IAMCONNECTED with Minister Lisa Hanna in 2015; Flava's Earthday Celebration 2015; Queng Dem 2nd Edition 2015. His quest to build his self-efficacy in the music industry has resulted in him being relevant and consistent as he maintains a presence with the Step by Step Band performing Live music. Presently the “Fyah Prince” is getting ready to release his new singles: “Time”, “Looking at your Pictures” “Never get I Down”,and Put it on. which were produced by Wezdummusic and Hail Life with Love Production respectively.
