Pochino Press Pochino Press offers a multi-media stage for change makers and culture creators with a particular slant on works that explore the intersections of culture.

The mission of Pochino Press is to publish works that illuminate stories, which originate in the intersections where hybrid cultures not only meet, but form a new sensibility. Our publications include collaborative art books with Emmy-Award winning painter James Gayles, a vegan Persian cookbook, a collection of short stories by Monica Zarazua, fiction set in San Francisco's Mission District, art by East Oakland tattoo artist El Chamuco, and a look at Chicano hip-hop in Taiwan.

In a few short hours, join us in San Pancho at as we celebrate dani gabriel's latest book, "in the middle of all this living." Check their bio below. We'll be joined by supporting readers Ananda Esteva and David Flores, along with some light refreshments. Cone for the good vibes, some great poetry, and hang at one of S.F.'s most welcoming gathering spots !

"Dani Gabriel is writer and teacher, the author of three previous collections of poetry and three children’s books. They are a fire eater and ex-Reverend from the Bay Area. They have been called “The Poet Laureate of the nation of Hope” by James Tracy. They are also the former Poet Laureate of El Cerrito, CA.
