"Chicago post-punks Cel Ray have returned with another fast, frenetic, funny freak show in the form of 4 new songs on a beautiful slab of wax.
Across this EP, vocalist Maddie Daviss warps day-to-day anxieties, ranging from finding the ideal location to publicly urinate to the struggle of attaching names to faces, into frenetically charged anthems, reminiscent of those of Poly Styrene and Su Tissue before her. Josh Rodin’s guitars jangle aggressively atop the punchy and urgent grooving of bassist Kevin Goggin and drummer/recording engineer Alex Watson, creating an angular framework as sincerely sardonic as the vocals that ride atop it.
Raw enough for the hardcore and refined enough for the hip, P**s Park f***s on its own terms. »

DRUID FLUIDS new single Sour's Happy Fantasy is officially out today on all streaming platforms.
This is the 5th single of the full album to be released October 27th, you can check it and pre-order our very special vinyl coloured variant on our Bandcamp.

Across this new song Sour’s Happy Fantasy, there is a swirling mix of fuzzy guitars ripping through a classic Doom styled riff that then opens up and reveals lead singer and band leader Jamie Andrews' harmonious, reverberated vocals. With enormous drum fills and equally bombastic bass riffs, the song is one of the more heavier tracks from the psych rock outfit that has grown a reputation for transcendental live shows filled with psychedelic visuals and equally left-of-field sonic journeys.
Speaking on the conception of the song, Jamie says :
“I wrote the riff for this song on an acoustic guitar in my bedroom, and I knew pretty soon that it needed to become quite heavy and fuzz saturated. After playing it with the band it soon became a centrepiece of our live act. This track was produced in my home studio, with Eli Biles on drums and Jess Foenander on backing vocals. The song paints the effects of media constructing our reality; one that encourages wilful ignorance and solipsism. Sour’s Happy Fantasy shows a character in the throes of dissociation while peering through the media lens. The extended version of the track will be released with the album.”

Over the past Three years with songwriter, singer and multi instrumentalist Jamie Andrew at the helm, Druid Fluids has become a must see in the South Australian music scene. What began as a three piece Floyd/Hendrix/Beatles treat has grown and matured to a feast of soundscapes flavoured with a melange of jazz, pop and exotic ingredients.

Druid Fluids have now seriously embraced the recording studio with an eye to pushing beyond the limitations of guitar based songs to an experience which builds upon their early roots, but is not limited by them. To hear them is to consume a captivating elixir of the strange and the familiar arranged in sometimes surprising juxtaposition. Turn off your mind, relax and float downstream...

Thrilled to present our variant of the first-ever vinyl pressing of PINCH POINTS 2018 debut EP MECHANICAL INJURY, celebrating the 5th anniversary of the release and featuring new bonus track ‘PAVE ME’.
This EP was originally released on cassette in 2018 through Roolette Records
100 red cassettes were initially printed in ‘Australia’ alongside 100 yellow EU tapes through us, followed by a repress of 100 black/white cassettes in Aus.

We're bringing you today Dorotheo , haunted-psych outfit from Guadalajara / Mexico, latest album "Nada Escrito" and pre-orders are now live on our Bandcamp

Release is 300 copies total, split with Half Shell and the band.

DOROTHEO was formed in 2011 in Guadalajara, Mexico by Benjamín Zárate, Otto Malgesto, Anton Cerda and Vicco González. In 2013 the band released their first self-produced, self-titled album in which they established the essential elements of their sound.

NADA ESCRITO is Dorotheo’s third full-length album and a reflection of the band’s evolution through the years. The project's progressive nature and their psychedelic rock foundation has blossomed to a different sonic direction, reminiscent of hauntology music, echoing the experimental spirit of bands like Broadcast, Stereo Lab or Silver Apples, yet landing ideas from latin-american and middle-eastern music among many other influences with their signature song-writing, channeled by the production hand of Hugo Quezada (Progreso Nacional, Exploded View) and the musical possibilities enabled by the new line-up.
This album is the follow-up to their celebrated Como Es (2021), which was conceived as a duo integrated by front-man, singer and guitarist Benjamín Zárate and Otto Malgesto on drums and vocals.

Dez Dare (aka Darren Smallman of BATTLE WORLDWIDE, Low Transit Industries, Thee Vinyl Creatures, The Sound Platform, Warped) grew up in Geelong, a port city located on Corio Bay and the Barwon River, in the state of Victoria, Australia where he became involved in the local punk and rock scene in 1990, playing in a band called Warped, sharing stages with the likes of Bored!, The 5678s, Fugazi, The Dirty Three and the Hard-ons, going on to play in multiple bands spewing out sludgy punk rock, drone riffage and noisy pop abundance. Darren was embedded in the scene, playing music, running labels (founding record label and touring company Low Transit Industries in 1999 working with bands such as The Essex Green, Lilys, Elf Power, Okkervil River, Of Montreal, Black Mountain, Trans Am) before moving to the UK in 2010 where he has operated ever since.
