Every Wednesday from 10-11 PM, Folkadelphia Radio with Fred Knittel explores the world of folk, Americana, country, and more, old and new, ranging from the fringe to the familiar to the freaky and everything in between. This is the final month to download and stream all of the Co-Mission: An Artist Relief compilations that we launched at the start of the Covid pandemic. All remaining and new donations will be divided up between UMAW (Union of Musicians and Allied Workers) Philly, Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, and National Network of Abortion Funds.

Anyone still here? You might be interested in a project I'm working on via Smithsonian Folkways, releasing a live performance from 1976 from experimental multidisciplinary group Entourage Music and Theater Ensemble. 'The Mermaid's Purse: Live at Chatham College, 1976' is out next Fri. 3/4.
