ARCHITECTURAL TOURISM IN PORTUGAL

The Architectural Guide Project is innovative and conciliates several tools (online and offline), with the intent to foment and promote Architectural Tourism in Portugal. The publications are bilingual (Portuguese / English) with a “travel guide” format that promotes the work of a wide scope of architects, including most of the works by the two Portuguese winners

of the “Pritzker Prize– Álvaro Siza Vieira and Eduardo Souto Moura, the two biggest references of the prestigious Architectural School of Porto. In all formats, each work is presented with photographs and information that contextualizes it in time and space. It also gives a precise location of all works through GPS coordinates, Porto and Lisbon, as would be expected, are the districts with the largest number of works. For these two cities, as a result of that finding, an application for Iphone e Ipad: Architectural Guide Portugal.
