I have so much content from when I was living in Florida I’d love to share. That’s where I found my passion for photography and started taking portraits.

It feels weird posting content that isn’t necessarily relatable since I moved back to the Midwest. I miss the photo meet ups in Orlando where you could meet models and fellow photographers. I miss going to the beach with friends to shoot.

Restarting your business a thousand miles away is hard. I love being back in Ohio but it’s a totally different market. We have a lot of talent photographers in our rural area which can make things harder.

Being a creative and sharing your work can feel really vulnerable which isn’t something we tend to talk about. I’m all for community over competition but sometimes it’s easier said than done to compare your “success”.

My career has taken so many unexpected twists and turns over the last 15 years. Learning to flow with those changes is crucial. This is a reminder to myself and you to give yourself some grace and it’s okay to post old photos just because you like them. 💛

I’m a wife, mother, homemaker, and former teacher who loves to create.

After over a decade of being a graphic designer in the marketing field I started turning my hobby of photography into a profession. Then I spent the last 2 years teaching media arts and photography to 7-12th graders through our local career center.

Now I’m a stay at home mom and refocusing on my small business! I love capturing moments from portrait sessions to special events such as weddings and birthday parties. I also specialize in designing brand identities — logos, brochures, social media content and more.

Opal Josephine 👶🏻💛✨

We welcomed our little girl into the world on June 18th! It’s been a beautiful whirlwind to say the least since she arrived. She’s strong, healthy and already growing too fast!

As a family we decided I won’t be returning to teaching in the fall. It’s a bittersweet feeling as I’m so excited to spend my days raising our daughter but will miss my students, coworkers and being in the classroom.

Since I will be at home, I will be refocusing on my business that I started years ago and never ever fully committed to. I’m so thankful my husband is so supportive of this transition. I haven’t had the time or energy I wanted to invest into photography or design to grow my hobby turned passion into something more. I plan to ease into things, giving myself some grace as my body continues to heal from childbirth and adjusts for breastfeeding.

I’ll be sharing images from photo shoots, events and weddings I’ve done over the years, designs I’ve created, and links to a blog I started but never posted. Stay turned for some upcoming dates for backyard photos sessions in August! 📸💛✨

Another life update… I’m officially Mrs. Littick!

On Leap Day, I married the love of my life — Tobias in a beautiful, intimate ceremony.

I’m beyond grateful for for capturing our special day at her .

It’s been a busy year as a teacher transitioning into this new chapter. My business has been put on the back burner as I focus on my health and prepare for the arrival of our little girl.

I have one wedding in the books for May that I’m thrilled to photograph. Weddings are such a magical event no matter the size.

Over the summer I’ll be updating my website and services with the intention to return to offering mini sessions and photography lessons in the fall. Thank you everyone for supporting me throughout this journey!

Created just for fun last night! 🎨💛✨

Asked Tobias what I should paint, he suggested a crab. I love how he turned out. It “sparked joy” so I made a few other random pieces.

I love watercolor but I never have the patience to let the paint dry. Seeing how colors interact with each other is so relaxing and therapeutic.

As I practice I’ll be making 8.5” x 5.5” paintings, illustrations and cards. They will be available for purchase soon on my website. If you have a special request send a DM!
