The Trump assassination: It gets worse and worse

It now turns out that the gunman, Thomas Matthew Crooks, was noticed by several bystanders long before he fired the shots, and that those bystanders alerted the Pennsylvania State Police that something was wrong. Pictures were also taken of Crooks walking around with a so-called range finder intended to be attached to a rifle.
26 minutes before the shots were fired, it was noted that Crooks was on the roof of the building, from which he had a clear line of fire to the President. And as the security expert Will Geddes, who is often hired to organize the security of prominent people, explains to the TV program Talk, it is impossible to imagine that the snipers of the Secret Service did not see Crooks.
So they had plenty of time to neutralize him.
Additionally, a Pennsylvania State Police trooper who, according to the Secret Service, was in charge of the outer security perimeter climbed onto the roof but decided not to do anything because Crooks pointed his rifle at him. Wouldn't he have immediately alerted the Secret Service?
It is hardly surprising that rumors are swirling that the assassination was an "inside job" and that the Pennsylvania police or the Secret Service - or both - were involved in the attempt to neutralize the Republican presidential candidate.
It is no secret that most federal institutions, i.a. The FBI and CIA, have long since been transformed into agencies of the Democratic Party. So why should the Secret Service be an exception?
