Here's a short animation we created giving a quick overview of the installation process for PAL Lighting's PLO-P strip light for concrete pools. We also created an alternative version for fiberglass pools which can be found on www.pallighting.com.
The installation process is as simple as installing a conduit into the wall with PAL's PLO-P conduit adapter attached (which allows for the oversized fitting on the light to fit into the wall using a smaller conduit. Then screw the mounting track directly to the concrete wall. Tile around the mounting track and conduit entry then simply push the PLO-P light into the wall and connect the cables to the lighting controller/driver. The lighting shown in the video is for demonstration purposes - showing that the light can achieve 16 million colours using RGB LEDs, however only one light colour can be achieved at any given time.

Here are some snippets from an animation we created for PAL Lighting's field assembly plug.
The field assembly plug is a retro fit option for replacing out-dated pool lights which are connected to a standard power source. The old light is removed from the pool and lifted above water, dried and it's cable cut (as close to the light as possible to retain the cable length). The field assembly plug is then connected to the power cable and the waterproof gel gap is wrapped around the plug assembly, secured by 2 screws. A waterproof cable gland is then inserted and the gland nut tightened to create a fully sealed assembly.
The plug can then be inserted into a new PAL Sonar Pool, Spa, or Canadian Retro Fit light and installed straight into an appropriate pool niche.
The light can then be controlled via a Sonar remote control (not shown).

Here are some snippets for an animation we recently created for PAL Lighting's PCR-1Z-SM lighting driver system.
We made a series of similar animations for this product line showing the installation steps for various versions. The version shown here is a Switch Mode driver for the Australian pool lighting market. The driver can power 2 or more lights (installed via piggy backing the terminals in the enclosure. Using a qualified electrician/installer, the input terminals are connected to the mains via the conduit openings on the underside. Then lights are installed, also via the conduit openings on the underside to the terminals provided on the PCB. Lights are then controlled via 'Switch Mode technology' whereby the user quickly turns the power to the driver on and off to change light modes, the driver then communicates with the lights allowing a range of 8 different lighting colours or modes, including my favourite - 'disco mode'.
Other versions of the product enable the user to operate lights with more modes and options via either a remote handset or via the PAL Lighting app. Users can control brightness, colour (via a colour wheel), zones (i.e. controlling different lights or sets of lights independently from each other) and speed (for disco modes, how quickly lights change colour). We also made different versions for EU and USA drivers, where their installation steps differ slightly.

Here's an animation we created for Viega. The preview shown is sped up and was originally slower to show the steps and features more clearly.
The product is Viega's Live Tapping Valve which enables those installing piping to install a run-off pipe into a main pipe without having to turn off any water supply. The tapping valve is installed in-place over the main pipe. The secondary pipe is installed into the out-pipe section. The tapping valve is then screwed down into the main pipe which cuts into the pipe and then is opened by unscrewing and releasing water or gas through the valve and into the secondary pipe.
This was a great animation to work on to show case lots of fun animation tools including water simulations, cloth simulations, particles and springs.

Here's an animation we created for PAL Lighting to show the simple installation steps for their Fibreglass Bubbler with LED lights. The video is sped up for your viewing, but a slower version was created for PAL to clearly show their customers how to install the product.
The steps are:
1) Cut a hole
2) Install the 'niche' or bucket that holds the bubbler with a silicone seal on the pool side and a nut on the back surface, while also adding in conduit adapters.
3) Add in electrical cable and feed through conduits
4) Install the bubbler pipe, aesthetic top plates, LED light (plug in) and optical top lenses for the bubbler.
The video we made here then finishes with a complete pool/deck/patio scene showing a few more PAL products including their Evenglow Nicheless Light, Garden Lights, Sheer Waterfalls and Color Touch Remote. A quick flyover of the pool finishes the animation.

Viega Cashback Promo
Here's a fun, short promo video we did for a Viega cashback campaign.
The client required a punchy and impactful 15 second video to get the message across - a simple cashback offer on a range of products.
The device shown is Viega's Pressgun 5 which opens it's clamp jaws and spurts out hundreds of $50 notes. We went through a few different ideas, with the cash taking a path around the wording but ended up simplifying and just 'throwing money in the viewers face'!
All in all, a fun video to work on!

This week, a quick, fun, logo animation with a twist!
The company, Glamour Clean Queens, is a prestige cleaning and lifestyle company servicing the LGBTQ+ community and it’s supporters.
Glamour Clean Queens asked for a quick logo animation that exemplified their image. The scene is set on a drag queen style stage with the curtains drawing back and a dramatic logo entry. To end the animation the logo explodes into glistening 'dust', which is blown off screen to leave, well, a clean stage!
This was a fun job to do that gave us the oppurtunity to explore lots of animation tools within the fantastic TyFlow plugin - including particle and cloth simulations.

We recently made an animation for local charity - GPAI. Based in Nambour QLD, GPAI delivery golf programs for people with intellectual disabilities, acquired brain injury, mental health and more. They are currently raising money to build a multi-million dollar golf and workshop complex featuring a range of facilities and on-campus housing.
For this video, we took GPAI's vision and made it a reality, with a flyover of all the facilities as well as a driving range and 18 hole pitch and putt golf course. The animation serves to introduce stakeholders and investors to the concept, as well as being part of a film about the project made by Kevin Evans.
