Derlesia Sims “Queen of Gospel Radio & TV”
Derlesia Sims has been in Broadcasting for nearly 30 years. She is known as the Queen of Gospel Radio, TV, & Magazine in Alabama. Derlesia has helped to launch over 15 Radio Stations, 3 TV Stations, 3 Newspapers and Editor of Divine Favor Gospel Magazines. Derlesia has worked for Cox Radio, Crawford Broadcasting, Willis Broadcasting, Richardson Broadcasting, Poarch Creek Indian Radio, Clear Channel Radio, Alabama Public Television and PBS just to mention a few. Derlesia aired on Time Warner/Brighthouse TV Network for over ten years with a weekly gospel tv show. Derlesia Sims is also a professional ballet and jazz dancer, making the finalist for the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders. Derlesia has been known to be the one of the originators of what is now called praise dancing over twenty five years ago; when dancing was not allowed in any church.
