Whether you know exactly what you want to do after university or you are keeping your options open, being a Full Time Officer will help you achieve your career goals.

The skills you gain as an Full Time Officer are invaluable and not typical to your average graduate job. Being an Full Time Officer gives you the skill set for the administrative side that all these organisation have. You might not need these skills until mid-career but once you are there, you will have an advantage over those who went straight into the frontline.

Some of you may remember Jakub Bobro, who was Radio Caley's head of news during his second year of university and was actively involved with The EDIT and the station throughout his time at GCU.

Earlier this month, Jakub passed away in his home country of Slovakia. There is a memorial service in Glasgow Caledonian's students union on September 11, 14:00-18:00.

Her own struggles with an eating disorder began when the rest of the world was struggling, at the start of the pandemic. She had been on an extremely low-calorie diet for over three months due to lack of knowledge about sustainable fat loss.
