It's been pretty obvious this page hasn't been very active the past few years. I started Prohibition Soap in 2020 and have been bootstrapping it alone. As it continues to grow I have less time for Veterans of Gaming.

As a veteran myself and I know that there are many veterans here, I'd really appreciate it if you'd check us out as we give proceeds back to a veteran non-profit that supports reunions.

I would like to make video game-themed soaps at some point but don't know if anyone here would be interested in it haha.

There are many outlets that provide video game news, reviews, and discussion, we know this. The major difference between VOG is that we are real people, who love games. We have not lost touch with the realities that an everyday gamer goes through. We have not spent our entire adult lives in the gaming industry or journalism school. Our group of friends come from all walks of life such as, the military, business ownership, beer brewing, craftsman, and the list goes on. Most of the other gaming news outlets are in California, and have been removed from the everyday gamer for so long, they don’t understand you. You’ll never hear us say “I played X game for an hour and then stopped because it wasn’t for me”. VOG understands that the average gamer who just spent $60 on a new game, would most likely give up that quickly. You worked hard for that money! Because of this our discussions will be fresh and unique. You can go to 4 or 5 other news sites or podcasts and here the same news and same “hot takes” over and over again. Not here.
