Guerilla Method, (abbreviated GM), is a long-standing renowned eSports organization that is rising up and competing for a large and sturdy community that attracts new users daily. With SK Gaming reinvigorating its DotA section with updates from the developer and tracking the professional eSports scene, GM showed interest and we delivered. Previously in May of this year, we published a review of th
eir community, which was much smaller and their DotA team was less prominent than what it has progressed to today. However, professional gaming is renowned to show massive shifts in progress and GM makes no exception. With a new website, new staff, new squads and an entirely new setup, they aspire to take their organization to a whole new level. Guerilla Method eSports' most-prominent aspect is their DotA squad, which has been pitted with some of the most tenacious teams in the professional gaming industry, including Ravens. The current line-up includes Jovan 'Micko' Uroševiæ, Aleksandar 'Alucard' Tošiæ, Dejan 'FastClick' Vuèiæeviæ, Slobodan 'Uloveit' Stojanoviæ, Aleskandar '4Sale' Milenkoviæ and Milan 'Lycan' Cvetkoviæ. Although not necessarily mainstream amongst the DotA community, the team has proven itself to be a force to be reckoned with by defeating high-ranking teams, such as diamondZ e.V., DIPS, imex, hhn and Team C4. The community is an achievement in itself, considering how its management is spread through such diverse climates. For example, the managing director of Guerilla Method eSports, Iman aka Zest, manages the organization from the Asian region. Also, Djole aka DEVIL92, who has interacted with SK in the past, originates from the popular G-L with the DotA team. The diversity of the organization, along with its long history from several conglomerate organizations, is what attracts its users. Users are given the opportunity to interact with the community managers with the Counter-Strike servers, DotA matches and the private World of Warcraft server managed by Guerilla Method. With one of the most-popular DotA communities in existence, GM has proved to be a great cornerstone for the evolving DotA scene. If the end of DotA's lifespan becomes apparent in the near future, the management of GM would be compelled to shift their Warcraft III DotA scene to IceFrog's upcoming title, given that he remains true to its roots.
