There’s a new level of magic for us when we experience Disneyland as a parent. We really see the joy and wonder of this place and what it offers through the eyes of our boys. The look of disbelief and happiness when they see their favorite character roaming the streets, or the actual thought we take with picking out our often ironic Disney themed clothes creates deeper memories we are blessed to have.

Also the drinks as adults…just magical ✨🍹

Halloween brings a magical blend of spooky decorations, creative costumes, and the thrill of treats, which casts a spell of excitement and fun for all ages 🎃💀 Make that holiday the theme of an already magical place and the mind cannot comprehend the beauty and wonder that can be produced. I doubt many people will argue that the holidays at Disneyland are some of the best times for decor and food.

No one immerses you into each park, each land, and each holiday like Disney.

Playa del Carmen, nestled along the shores of the Mexican Caribbean, captivates visitors with its unique blend of sun-kissed beaches, vibrant culture, and lively atmosphere. This coastal gem, once a sleepy fishing village, has transformed into a dynamic destination that combines relaxation and excitement.
We walked through the heart of Playa del Carmen, Quinta Avenida, a bustling pedestrian street adorned with shops, restaurants, and colorful murals. Quinta Avenida takes you right to the powdery white sands and crystal-clear turquoise waters of Playa del Carmen's beaches. And a few feet farther down the beach, the sand and water pose the perfect backdrop to Fondadores Park and the breathtaking sculpture Portal Maya which celebrates the rich culture of the indigenous people of the region.
You cannot go wrong on a trip to Playa del Carmen, whether you are looking for good food, happy hour specials, shopping, or a day in the sun at their beautiful beaches. This is a city that takes more than one day to explore, and we cannot wait to go back! ✈️🌴🍹☀️🧳🛣️🗺️🌎🍻

For the first part of our trip we stayed at Occidental at Xcaret, a popular all inclusive resort in Playa del Carmen, known for its beautiful aesthetic and resort amenities. From the pool side mojitos and pina coladas to the all you can eat tacos and pizzas (and one of the best Caesar Salads Jess has ever had) there was always something delicious to be found.
The pristine pools amid the tropical landscape transports you to pure relaxation where there are zero cares in the world besides remembering sun screen and bug spray
When you’re feeling adventurous, rustic paths will take you to breathtaking ruins and white sanded beaches for some fun in the sun.
Overall we had a fun and relaxing time at Occidental where everything was a short beautiful walk away and the pool was right outside our door. Truly paradise. ✈️🌴🍹☀️🧳🛣️🗺️🌎🍻
