If I haven't seen you in 4 years or more but we're still friends here, I miss you & am very sorry we haven't reconnected. Long Covid is still real. It makes it hard to do many of the things I love to do like travel, hike and spend time away exploring with friends.

It's been in the midst of this reset where I've moved my business and life, creating a new video series and worldbuilding & design practice for concept development that blends old and new artistry. I've been working hard on a number of global art endeavors while curating a new collection of for the public including early 1900s and .

The new Realitycraft Antiques store is now open and live in Niles, CA at the Niles Antiques Co-op, a beautiful old building in the heart of the Tramp's old stomping grounds, the Niles Essanay Film District is where many silent films were made over 100 years ago. Today it's a beautiful little getaway district for vintage culture, classic cars, antiques, delis and great little music scenes.

I haven't landed on my favorite design concept yet and wanted to open it up to all of you - which bird do you like the most for the tags at the new store in Niles? Most antiques are in the 1890s - 1960s range so the fonts are somewhere in the middle.

I will be traveling down to Los Angeles 2X this month coming up for AWE where I'll be speaking and hosting in the AWE Focus program for executives seeking insight on edge technologies from spatial computing, AR/XR and virtual production with integrations around digital twins, lightfields and holo performances. If you're near Long Beach in the middle of the month, let me know! Since you can't all come over tonight, here's a to try at home with whatever you have:

Chocolate/peanut butter/banana muffintops:
1 frozen banana
2 eggs
1 cup of GF flour mix of your choice (nut, tapioca, coconut for me tonight)
cinnamon
salt
baking powder
peanut butter
cacao if you have it or chocolate chips
peanut butter chips (or broken up reece cups, leftover easter candy)
a dash of date syrup or similar sweetener if you wish

Can be vegan easily with egg replacer and vegan chips.
I stuck mine in muffin paper liners and basically made muffin tops by using the muffin liners on a cookie sheet (not in a muffin pan) to keep them soft and almost like a thick cookie.

One large spoonful per muffin liner, or just use it like a thick cookie dough and bake at 325 until golden, not over. Don't let the bottom or top get too dark.

My space Realitycraft has supported a number of PhDs and live/work residents while in transition career-wise including Noreen Sullivan, a smart creator/researcher working with me currently in the lab while healing from a difficult double dose of cancer then a mugging that left her with injuries that required medical care. She's a resilient one, working while healing!

You can help support Noreen's recovery time and help us both keep the lights on at the Realitycraft open lab space by jumping on my site http://evo.ist and donating or buying one of the hundreds of art, glass and jewelry items we're about to list online this week as part of this benefit sale event. Many items will go up to FB marketplace, eBay and my site this week for sale.

My personal goal is to raise $10K this week so Noreen has everything she needs and we can keep the lab afloat for the 2 months while she's in R&D there. The lab as a live/work design space for creatives has supported half a dozen leaders beyond my time there in the last year and currently costs a bit over $3300 a month to maintain as a living lab and incubator for creatives working on new artworks, finishing their PhDs or developing new products for the public like Noreen's current work (we'll share more on that R&D soon - it's useful!).

Noreen is a delight to have around and I hope you will help us support her time in healing while also helping Realitycraft grow as a live/work arts incubator for all of us who experiment on the edges of media and technology.

If you are interested in exploring ethical design and XR for devices such as today's announce please join us at XRGuild -- XRGuild.org.

In short, this is a medical device almost 20 years in the making. The price is high & is in line for a therapeutic medical or higher end training device -- it isn't yet comparable to most of what's in the market today in terms of hardware capabilities & privacy implications. It isn't VR. It'll look great for gaming, but it can do much more for therapeutic use cases or training sims.

Our XRGuild board president Avi Bar-Zeev has worked inside these companies for over 20 years and with colleagues we will be embarking on a series of media conversations, live meetups and summits, mentorship and R&D library for this industry long term related to ethics, privacy, safety and how to use these new tools effectively.

Also Meta looks to be removing content of this type -- so there's clearly some competition felt.
