Asceta: Erebus. La Suite De Las Sombras (2023) - mini-review
Chilean band Asceta released the album "Erebus. La Suite De Las Sombras" back in the spring of 2023, and progressive rock is the style explored on this production. This all instrumental album is clearly written and performed by musicians with a knowledge and interest in classical symphonic music and chamber music, as this is material that easily could be performed by a classical symphonic orchestra or by a chamber quartet, depending on arrangement choices. They have expanded the compositions here though, with plain rock elements coming into play on some occasions, a more flowing jazz arrangement is added on other, and jazzrock is an expression that pops up here and there too. They also make use of some older style folk music elements, although this latter aspect may well be accidental as this is of course also an element that is a part of the classic music legacy and tradition. Those with an interest in what is sometimes called chamber rock and at other times will be classified under the Rock In Opposition or avant moniker should find this album to be quite the tasteful and elegant experience.

Por un lado, se presenta el disco "Dance of the Goodbyes" nuevamente remasterizado, y por otro se acompaña la demo grabada en 2003, nunca editada oficialmente, a la cual se añade como bonus la mítica maqueta del tema "Flight to Nowhere". Todo ello presentado en un lujoso digisleeve de tres paneles, en el que se incluye (por si no fuera poco) el libreto original del disco.

Debido a la muy buena demanda de boletos de entrada general para el concierto del Balletto di Bronzo en la Cdmx, (hemos llegado a 100 entradas vendidas) extendemos la fecha de venta y la cantidad de boletos disponibles.
Esta primera etapa de preventa (boleto general en $500 pesos) terminará el 31 de octubre, a partir del mes de noviembre iniciará la segunda etapa y el precio en ésta sección, de entrada general, será de $600 pesos.
Para los boletos de la sección VIP hemos tenido también gran aceptación y ponemos a su disposición otros 20 lugares a un precio de $950 pesos (todos sentados en mesas para 4 personas). También, ésta etapa finalizará el 31 de octubre y a partir del mes de noviembre se incrementa el precio para quedar en $1,100 pesos.

It' hard to believe Banda Elástica (THE Mexican combo) keeps the flag of RIO flying. Although they are hardly visible on stage these days, this performance is from 2022, when they presented their new cd Pandemonium. Needless tom say I loved it!
