This week marks a very special milestone for the label! I started the label 20 years ago this week, shortly after my 20th birthday. I finished recording the first tape and started dubbing it with a box of church sermon tapes I had dumpster dived. I had previously run the 309 thrash militia tapes label releasing tapes by my bands and a few other bands in the Midwest, but I decided I wanted to focus exclusively on noise and experimental music and started dumpsterscore and haven't looked back since.
I want to give a huge thank you to all the artists that have been on the label over the years, all the labels that have been supportive of my own music and the label, and to everyone that has picked up a release or traded me! There's a lot of sick music out in the world now thanks to all of you!
The goofy slogan at the bottom of the image was the original slogan for the label all those years ago and I still stick by it more or less. It really means the world to me for all of your support for literally half of my life now. A huge thank you to everyone reading this, keep your eyes peeled for some great new releases in the new year!!!
