Our boss Boyd Goosman released a trancy track on BRC records !
This one is REALLY different and it deserve an explanation :

My new track "Anthea" has just been released (on K7 media) on BRC's Simurgh compilation!
This is quite different from what I usually do, so it deserves a little explanation:

- 1993, when I had already been listening to New beat, Acid House and Techno for a few years, I came across a radio show on Radio Campus Dijon one evening: "Anthéa" and I got a big slap in the face. discovering the supercharged and hysterical German and Belgian trance played by Dj Sly and Dj Silence...
I record all their shows for months and listen to them over and over again and ruin my ears listening to them all day long.

- A few years later, when I learned that a project to create a Radio Campus in Besançon was being set up, I joined the team that created the Radio with one goal in mind: to have my show and create a kind Bisontin "d'anthéa"!

So of course, since then, Trance has become completely obsolete, completely lame and shameful... but I have always kept a certain nostalgia for a handful of tracks from this trance era 1992-1995 (before it became horrible after 1995 ).

It's this state of mind that I tried to transcribe in this piece by using all the clichés of the genre (sample of the Amen break, a little too much layers and hysterical Acid full of reverberation).
It's voluntarily produced in a hurry to find this atmosphere of this time when the records were not too well produced, but also the sound of this radio that I did not pick up too well...

In short, I hope that the tribute will please Dj Sly and bring back many memories and sensations to those who have ruined their ears by listening to releases from Bonzaï records, Harthouse, Eye Q...
