Hello, writers! Our annual fee for the podcast's hosting site is up again! Without the weekly new episodes, I've had no advertisers choose to run ads with our podcast. I've been talking with a few writers about doing episodes with me, but it's been hard to fit into my schedule with all that's been going on recently. If you've found the podcast educational, helpful, inspiring or fun, AND you have a few bucks to spare, will you consider helping me to keep it up for yourself or others? I need your questions!

So, i have to wait until late January to contact the initial author again, BUT I do have a second author confirmed- we are just waiting on ME to get the dates down for the interview(s). She will definitely have advice for those who are struggling with making writing a priority and she's fairly prolific so I'm going to be asking about capturing and nurturing ideas! She's a self-pubbed author. What questions do YOU have on busy schedules, making time with inconsistent schedules, or building on ideas? Go!

I did it! I swallowed the fear and anxiety, let the butterflies play in my stomach and reached out to the first author that I would love to have a conversation with on the show. Will she be interested? I don't know! But I had to try!

I picked someone that my years of getting to know our listeners suggested would be hitting a majority of your interests. Someone whose genre and size of success, whose timeline and work schedule would be both inspiring and interesting and compelling! If she says no, it's okay! I'll find someone else.

But you all have given such love and been such an amazing community that you deserve to know I've started the action that will eventually lead to new episodes!

POSSIBLE NEW EPISODES: Minus Holly, though. What are YOUR thoughts? Read below for information:

It's amazing that this podcast has been over for almost two years and I'm still getting messages from new people or people bingeing the series.

I've talked about doing a series of interviews with other authors before, authors that have incredibly busy lives but still manage to make an income/living from their works. Originally the idea was to do this on a separate podcast, but then AIARWIP was discontinued so that Holly could focus on her fiction. So, maybe I can bring AIARWIP back for the listeners, but turn it into an interview series (and without the regular weekly uploads).

QUESTIONS:
1. Would you be interested in this?
2. If so, what authors would you want to hear from (please note, I'm not likely to get Stephen King on the podcast, ha! Also, I'm not going to pull other successfully podcasting authors into this as they've likely answered all the questions on their own podcast - so go and support them there!!).
3. What MAJOR questions would you have for authors? Leave these in the comments below. (Please think long and hard about these, don't post 30 basic questions, or all that come to your mind - just the most important ones).

First, WE DID IT! Well, YOU did it! So, THANK YOU for all of the help in reaching the goal of paying for the next year of the hosting for podcast!

No other new goals will be posted on the Ko-Fi page at the moment. ANY new "tips" will be going to the future longevity of the podcast. I will be paying to keep the websites up as well as soon as they are transferred over to me. This is important as this is where all of the downloads are as well as notes, links, and credit (where credit is needed).

The podcast will have ads (if any advertisers are interesting in running them) in order to keep it going for as long as possible and I hope that listeners are okay with this.

Hello, writers! So, I found out a couple things today! The podcast billing is due on 7-18 (it's just under $110) and Holly is no longer covering it. She's focusing on her writing almost exclusively (yay!) so I'm taking it over.

The problem is, it's VERY short notice (12 days!!) and I have no funds to pay for the hosting. I'm going to run ads on it in the future to cover the costs of hosting both the podcast and website so I don't have to run this kind of last minute plea again, but in the meantime, I've re-opened the Ko-Fi account. If you have a couple extra dollars to spare and want to help this podcast continue to reach other writers, click the llink below and give the podcast a tip! Thanks :D

Pease note before you tip: the podcast ran from 2018 to 2020. There will be no new episodes - this is just covering the hosting for the more than 100 episodes up.

Hey, guys! Rebecca here!

I know that AIARWIP had a very particular style, goal and format, so this might not be for everyone. However, I have a new podcast out: YOU killed the Priest! and it is available pretty much anywhere that won't force ads on the listeners.

Just like AIARWIP, there is explicit content ☠

This podcast focuses on Writing Games & Prompts ONLY. I cohost with my brother, Mark Hermann - if you've listened to the Halloween episodes, you know who he is.

We come up with prompts on a rotating basis and then we share what we came up with, our process and what we think of the results. Obviously if anyone uses the prompts, you're free to email us what you came up with at [email protected], (or share on FB at , Instagram or share on the blog at Youkilledthepriest.com) and we might be able to read the work on a future episode 🤩🤗

The goal of this podcast is to HAVE FUN and keep writng💻✒. We showcase how differently we take prompts and sometimes how active our muse is or how reticent it can be.

We have 7 episodes out, new ones dropping Tuesdays at 5AM EST (easy for me to remember 🤣) so we have a new one coming out tomorrow.
