Embarrassing and hurtful experiences are often kept to ourselves, but in “Gullible” Elora puts her own mistakes on blast as she sings about the day she got scammed on the phone. “The way I can best learn from a situation is to write about it and laugh at myself,” says Elora. This is most candid in the line “I’m sorry and a broken promise, my du***ss thought that he was honest.” The song's progression captures the stomach-dropping consequences of naivety through breaking glass and angry lamenting “Oh, you’re so gullible.”
“Gullible” is the first peek into the two-year-old project of singer-songwriter Elora and co-producer Theo Walentiny.
