The Health Secretary told Nick the strikes were 'disappointing', emphasising that the January strikes will occur during the 'most difficult week in the NHS calendar'.

As the 7 day extended ceasefire in Gaza between Hamas and Israel came to an end, Sangita Myska is joined by Lieutenant Colonel Peter Lerner, an IDF spokesperson.

Sangita questions the IDF's targeting of civilians in their 'pursuit of Hamas', Colonel Peter insists that Israel's main goal is to 'eliminate any terrorists.'

When asked about the proportionality of Israel bombardment of Gaza, the IDF spokesperson tells Sangita that he believes the death toll is 'proportionate.'
