So, you’re scrolling through your social media and see a post that catches your eye. You want to leave a comment, but “Awesome post!” or “Nice work!” seems… well, a little lazy, right?

Here’s the truth: Generic comments don’t build relationships with your audience or help you expand your brand. If you want to create genuine connection through engagement that fosters community, you must dig deeper.

Lazy responses such as:
〰 “Looks great!”
〰 “Cool pic!”
〰 “Love it!”
〰 “Amazing work!”

These comments feel shallow and don’t add any value to the conversation. Oh! And let’s not forget the liking of posts and comments, when you are not even following them. Instead, let us aim to show that you have truly engaged with the post.

Thoughtful engagement creates real connections. Truly connect with your community, thoughtful and creative comments are the way to go. Whether you’re giving a compliment, asking a question, or referencing part of the post, make your comments stand out and spark real conversation.

“It is literally true that you can succeed best & quickest by helping others to succeed.” - Napoleon Hill


I’ve had a lot of experience in competitive environments where everyone is fighting to be at the top. Eyes are always on who’s going to make a mistake, who’s underperforming, or who’s too slow to pick up a new process. But aren’t we supposed to be a team?

I used to be a trainer at my previous 9-to-5 job, where I onboarded new hires to the process. When they started working and one or two of them weren’t performing well, others would quickly assume it was the trainer’s fault or that the training didn’t cover it—when in fact, 8 out of 10 people were doing great. We often overlook the positive and focus only on the negatives.

Instead of being the person who makes someone feel they’re not good enough, why don’t we take a step back and ask, “What could be wrong? What might be the shortcomings? What can we do? How do we fix it? How do we help?”
You can be the solution. You can help others succeed, so they can get ahead, learn, and grow too. We can succeed faster and better if we help each other along the way.



Here’s a challenge for you: instead of pointing out what’s wrong, why don’t we start asking, “How can I help you?” 🙋🏻‍♀️

Limitations live only in our minds. But if we use our imaginations, our possibilities become limitless.



I used to think that before I could start posting on social media, everything had to be perfect—brand colors on point, a flawless aesthetic, the whole package. To be honest, I spent so much time tweaking and revising that nothing ever made it to my feed.

But this quarter, I’m letting go of perfection and focusing on just getting my content out there. No more overthinking brand colors—if it looks good and doesn’t hurt the eyes, it’s going up!

Because let’s face it: you’re not going to make any sales if you don’t show up. At the end of the day, what really matters is the value of the content we share, not just how pretty it looks.
