7 years after the original spark happened, I officially wanted to close El Fuego as a project. Now the full cycle -the four issues- are available to download in non printable pdf in the link up there 👆 cos the most important thing has always been delivering the message -shout out to Hermes!- 💫.
It was obvious that the project has been inactive for a while, but I wanted to say that I feel super grateful to have had the chance to develop a project like this, it was such a trip full of amazing experiences. So much was learn and lived through it. In the end, life imposes itself and we change as our projects change, I reached a point were there wasn’t any more room for the zine in my life. I just hope you all enjoyed the art, the message and the trip as well. It was full of flow and synchronicity as it was the original idea 🔥
Forever and hardcore thankful from the bottom of my heart to everyone who played a part on this project: the team in the first and second issue, as a featured artist, as a reader/supporter, as a collaborator and also special mention to everyone involved in the events and release parties, cos that was pure fire indeed 🔥🔥🔥 those moments would be with me foreva. Still I’d like to host a goodbye party one day…
It is a mystery if at some point El Fuego would be re-printed again. For now let the memory of it burn in the fires of Beltane 🔥
