Got a chance to pick up a paint brush today. Finished up the Batmobile today and started on recreating the classic box art for Qbert.
Just need the black to dry and then I can hit it with one more coat and a few touch ups. Touched up the other two as well, just waiting for those to dry as well.
With Motor City Comic Con coming to a close, we want to sincerely say thank you to everyone who stopped by, and picked up the new book, scooped up some of our Bad Burrito back issues, picked up a painting or a print (or both), or shared a laugh over some silly cereal boxes. We both really appreciate the support and love that we all share for comics. Though it was great three days and my cheeks are sore from all the laughing, smiling, story swapping and joke cracking, it is back to the grind and living between Wednesdays until the next Motor City Show. Thank you everyone for an amazing weekend.

Day 4 on the road to Motor City Comic Con. Super excited to share the new Bad Burrito issue #7. Fans of the series can pick up the book this weekend. We will be in Artist Alley B16. We look forward to seeing you all there.
On the road to comic con, it's day 3 and what do I see? We have some new metal video game prints. You can find our amazing versus prints and these new metal prints at our table at motor city this weekend. We look forward to seeing all of you there.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the motor city comic con this weekend. We will have a table again this year with lots of new items. As we prep this week, we will share with you a few sneak peeks. For today, day 1 on our road to comic con, here are a few of the new paintings that we will have with us.
Got the background wrapped up and got the black line work in. Needs a few touch ups but this one is about done. Batmobile is up next.
Batman 66 paintings coming along. Need to do the background buildings then the black line work, and then these three will be wrapped up (shooting for monday or tuesday next week)
One down, starting the next painting. Working on batgirl, once she is all set, I'll work on her background at the same time working on the batmobile painting.
Working on the 1st of 3 batman '66 paintings and watching voltron for a little inspiration for my next writing project.
Finally finished the 3rd Real Ghostbusters painting. My goal for myself is to get 3 more paintings done before this summer. I've got 3 batman 66 intro paintings drawn out including batman and robin surrounded by the action bubbles after punching the thugs, batmobile in the city, and batgirl on her bat cycle. These three would be the last 3 in that series for me. OR, I have a Dr Mario, Qbert, and burgertime queued up as well.

I was introduced to Akira Toriyama's art first through dragon quest and chrono trigger, and then dragon ball when I was in college. I've always been inspired by his art and spent countless hours playing through games featuring his characters. I've done a few paintings inspired by his art. He will be missed.

So I appreciate the input from everyone on the Ghostbusters painting. I've decided to try something I haven't done before. The pencils are hard to see but I have three paintings in mind that I'm going to try and paint simultaneously. The 20 inch circular canvas will be the Ghostbusters with the original symbol behind them. The 11x14 has the same Ghostbusters but with the modified slimer behind them. The 10x20, features the Ghostbusters with slimer and ecto 1. The 10x20 and 11x14 I hope to make metal prints of after the originals sell.
